i had a dream the other night about khalid.
no,
it wasn’t that kind of dream.

it was a dream where we were talking about this new era of his.
i told him something along the lines that:
he should leaned into his sad boy era,
talking personally about the break up with that OF singing hooker.
more fall mid tempo/slow vibes of betrayal,
fake love,
and overcoming heartbreak.
then slowly start leaning into “britney/i’m a slave for you”.
tbh,
i don’t know why i had this dream but it was how i was feeling.
the OF singing hooker that ( x outed him ) allegedly tweeted something to khalid as well.
we don’t know if this was directed at him due his new video,
“out of body“:
but we can only guess because…

…because he comes off as a hater.
i love when people call you names after THEY did something to hurt you.
like,
when people say/font:
“well that’s why you got a small dick!”
“that’s why you stink!”
“that’s why you ugly AF!”
…but you sucked and fucked that small dick,
you put your dick/mouth in that stink hole,
and you sure let that “ugly AF” fucker fuck you consistently.

or my fav:
they claimed they loved him/her but proceeded to out them for no valid reason than hurt feelings.
its fake AF behavior and makes no sense to me.
if that tweet was allegedly directed towards khalid,
the OF singing hooker has tons of sex appeal:

…but none of that sex appeal is selling everything other records.
before he turned people off,
his highest video reached 147k.
nowadays:

what nene said?
“something something” not winning when you play dirty.
lowkey: i do like this song from khalid tho…

The reality of the Khalid situation is this, I’m not going to do mental gymnastics, Hugo D. Almonte is right but for the wrong reasons.
At its core, the issue here is colorism, fat-phobia, or a form of body shaming. Let us be honest, we’ve been conditioned by the system to view sex appeal with a narrow lens. Khalid is someone who has lost weight from his “send me your location” days. Let’s be clear Khalid does look good but it’s giving Dad-bod if ever so slightly boarding on the overweight category, he probably could lose another 10lbs. It’s hard to see a man the presents the way that Khalid does give up feminine Janet Jackson “All Nite” choreography. I think we would accept it if it came from Durand Bernarr or Todrick Hall or people who were more flamboyant.
Also, can we have another conversation about sexiness and people who don’t have the ideal body type. Thick or big people can be sexy too. I was looking at Druski, and he actually has a good face card, or LaVan Davis who plays Curtis on Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne”, or even Lil Rel, I was totally here for his story line on “Insecure” about how big people need love and relationships too.

Hugo didn’t lie, Khalid has no sex appeal and I hope Hugo keeps wacking that colorist.
But this gets posted lol.
Hugo is a colorist. Wtf are you on?
