diddy got 50 months,
which equals about 4 years,
but as many of us sighed relief this shit is over:
“cassie should be in jail.”
“this is all cassie fault.”
“cassie brought the black man down.”

tbh…
so never be a victim out here in this forest.
they want abuse to look like a tyler perry movie.
“and then they finally for up off the floor,
gave an uppercut to the abuser,
and rode off into the sunset.”
so when i hear people say or font cassie is just as bad as diddy,
my question is:
well what did she do?
abusers tend to leave a trail of abuse everywhere they go.
cassie vanished from the industry so i’m confused there.
i could understand if she was a raging attentionista.
she went ghost.
furthermore,
diddy is not oprah.
cassie is the one who spoke up.
she spoke so loud,
he had no choice than to settle because i’d imagine if someone was innocent:
they wouldn’t have paid any of the settlement.
i bet there are others who have remained quiet out of fear.

diddy has had rumors about his alleged bad behavior for years,
even before cassie.
there is so many rumors about diddy and his alleged behavior,
its shocking to see some people giving him grace now.
mind you,
he had an album that came out that no one supported or cared about.
it flopped and all i heard was crickets before he got caught up in this mess.
people were talking wild shit about him when he was award the “global icon award”.
i remember vividly everyone talking about how no one showed up for him,
and that he had to perform with his son rather than peers he worked with.
…but now its coppin’ pleas for diddy’s innocent?
this is the fake shit i be talmbout.
last,
my thing is he was a billionaire.
his job was to give back to those in the black community trying to come up.
not allegations of tying them up horrible contracts,
blacklisting out of spite,
and have many of those black people talking about their abuse on youtube.
not to mention many of his past artists allegedly being broke or dying broke.
again: i remember being a kid and everyone warning people NOT to sign with his label.
like,
wtf are we even fonting and talking about?
it’s the rewriting of history for me.

so its hard to feel sorry for someone who has been the unapologetic villain.
i do feel sorry for his kids who have to start over now.
i also feel sorry for his victims who feel like they didn’t get justice today.
i hope they can go ahead and heal and as diddy is on this downtime:
he can get to healing too.
lowkey: this diddy debacle revealed many people don’t have good discernment,
so they’ll turn the cheeks when they’re being thrown around the house head first,
or they are lowkey abusers too.

She spoke up cuz they used her domestic violence case, which had passed all statutes of limitations, to misrepresent RICO charges. Not cuz she stood for anything after taking a bribe.
I don’t feel sorry for Diddy cuz he needed to go to jail for many reasons. But the trial we saw had nothing to do with the charges that were filed.
We shouldn’t celebrate the system being weaponized against bad people when they do so in dishonest ways.
