well the good news is shannon sharpe helped a young hoe retire!

brava,
gabriella,
brava!
she did what every hoe dreams of doing.

they can’t be fuckin and suckin’ forever.

i’ve learned something in life:

some people gotta be embarrassed for them to truly learn.

this is why i stopped wasting my energy on those types.
it’s like they enjoy looking like idiots so bet.
shannon sharpe is a masterclass and the perfect example of…

“they tried to tell ya but you didn’t wanna listen.”

bad enough,
he made himself into having no leverage too.
katt williams and mo’nique done warned him when they were on his podcast:

…and he still went out there and helped a young OF hoe set up for her retirement.
one who was like a shark in the water filled with blood.
charity work?!
one would think.

i don’t feel sorry for him because he was an ex-baller wolf after.
those hits to the head may have shaken his common sense loose.
shannon will be fine because he has other platforms.
don’t cry for him argentina.
this debacle did make me think about something:

why do many of us fuck up our blessings,
lives,
relationships,
and money once we get them?

i’m seeing that a lot lately.
it’s like people don’t upgrade their discernment once we upgrade.

lowkey: i have a feeling this won’t be the end of anymore scandals with shannon sharpe.

  1. The problem with the Shannon Sharpe situation is that we don’t have, and haven’t developed, the language, especially in the black community, to express how egregious Shannon’s actions really were.

In 2025, people in the United States don’t thrive on labor, especially when it’s being taxed the way it is; instead, they thrive on inheritance. Right now, many economists are saying we are in the midst of the “Greatest Wealth Transfer” in human history as the silent generation and baby boomers begin to transfer their wealth to their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids in death and through in-life transfers.
Shannon Sharpe’s money was supposed to go to his children and grandchildren, not to be tricked off on some 20-year-old OnlyFans model. So, for Shannon to get out there and proudly say that he is financially the last option for his kids and not the first is a disgrace, and he is not alone; a lot of these first-generation black wealth entertainers say the same thing. I have heard Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal say pretty much the same thing.

People in the black community don’t really want to have an honest conversation about generational wealth and the obligations parents have to their children, even if they’re grown. Real talk, if you’re not leaving at least $400,000 to your kids in this current America, then sadly, you’re not doing it right.
