any time i think of the current events happening in this country,
i think about house of cards on netflix.
that was one show that depicted when the wrong folks got power,
everything will go to hell in a hand basket quickly.
not only that:

when the wrong folks get power,
how quickly they all turn on each other to survive.

i thought this was such an irresponsible thing to say.
there are people in my life who lost others to the rona.
they had to have funerals on zoom than attend in person,
all due to the fears of getting sick or even dying.

mind you,
this all went down during the debut to this sophomore slump we are dealing with now.

i just don’t know what to font any more but maybe he is right:

we all died during the rona and we’re currently in hell

life has taken such a weird turn that we gotta wonder if this shit is really happening rn.
not only that but the amount of jackals and hyenas that are okay with this shit.
that is the scariest part of it all.

when claire took over because frank underwood fucked up IRL,
it taught me that many amazing side characters aren’t meant to be the main.
she needed frank because his main character energy was stronger than hers.
