what does a mental health episode look like?
okay,
let’s rephrase:

what does YOUR idea of a true mental health episode look like?

i can’t font for you,
but for me,
it means removing myself from all things until further notice.
before it was wallowing in self pity and sadness.
these days,
its quietly finding what brings me joy to recharge my batteries.

unlike the others,
i can’t pour from an empty cup.

last week,
dante the body had a mental health episode.
he posted a dramatic AF social media post:

“I’M UNALIVING MYSELF AND IF YOU FIND THIS NOTE,
IT’S TOO LATE!”

well,
whoops!…
because he posted this…

…and i don’t know what to take of it.
he is back on his IG in full attentionisto drip.
a Foxholer even told me that uploaded something to his OF.
in my opinion:

people like dante get a dopamine hit off of any kinds of attention.
they have built their lives off social media clout that everything is an event,
including the idea of them unaliving themselves.
they know people will worry,
reach out,
and panic because deep down inside,
it gives them a feeling of being loved and appreciated.
the reactions prove their worth and who sees them as worthy.

…because realistically,
people who have known to unalive themselves just do it.
i’m sure some do get ultra dramatic but many others don’t head to social media.
they’ll more than likely leave a note for their loved ones.

the loved one will get on social media and tell the forests,
“hey,
the person you were following is no longer available.
like,
ever again.”

so i dunno,
but as you can see,
dante was in full “let me turn you on for taco tuesday” shortly after.

…and tbh,
the way the wording of the original note looks,
it gave:

“my wife was fed up of my shit and she walked out the door.
this was the only way i could get her attention.”

…but again,
i could be totally off base but it seemed like he was addressing someone.
anyhoo,
hoping he finds a strategy to help for any future episodes he may have.
