Oh Gayle.
Oh,
my sweet summer child.
gayle,
i understand you don’t understand the criticism happening lately.
the one about you and the rest of ^those folks heading to space:
i fully get why you are confused but if i may,
i can shine light on why many in the forests are reacting…
we are living in very unsure and bleak times.
people are losing their jobs and feeling wrecked with uncertainty.
there are many who are probably one more crisis away from unaliving themselves.
if this was another administration and ya’ll went to space:
It probably would have been more interesting.
ya know,
first female president and first all female crew heads to space!
it screams “girl power!“.

unfortunately,
that isn’t the case.
there are vixens literally getting their rights stripped away.
i’m to font you in the kindness of words:
We don’t care you went to space because it wasn’t interesting.
ya’ll didn’t go to the moon to collect samples.
there was no heading to mars to look at property.
i didn’t see a touch base with our alien overlords.
from what i saw,
no one got the phoenix force either.

It was a bunch of rich people going to space for the amount of time it takes me to cook fries in an air fryer.
rich people,
doing random rich shit,
and not one docu-series before the big take off.i wouldn’t have watched but it probably would have been interesting to see the fears,
what the rocket looked like,
the time it took to train for this six flags adventure ride,
and all the BTS drama and safety concerns.
so yeah,
that didn’t happen leading up to this and many people didn’t care.
we saw a bunch of rich people flaunting their wealth in the most ludicrous of ways.
It’s telling we cared more about the season finale of The White Lotus than this space travel.
maybe,
in another timeline,
this would have hit harder for us.
in this timeline tho:
We are not impressed with rich people who aren’t doing rich right.
…and this goes beyond an 11 minute space travel.
lowkey: is katy perry still on her “turn us off” arc?
Bingo.
