i was watching a twitch streamer the other day,
when someone asked:

“How can I become a streamer like you?”

and his response baffled me:

“Don’t try to be a streamer.”

it baffled me because i thought he was being an asshole.
when i sat and thought about it,
he was right…

You don’t try to become a streamer.
Becoming a streamer is something that just happens.
You stream playing a game you are good at it,
you build a community of people that like your energy,
and that is how you become a streamer.

when we set out to TRY being like kai cenat or (insert popular twitch streamer here),
but when we don’t see insta-fame/success like them,
we give up for another source of quick dopamine.
that is when i went down the rabbit hole and thought of something else:

“Don’t try to be in a relationship.”

we tend to look at other people in relationships and want what they have.
from what i’ve observed:

Many of those people weren’t looking to be in a relationship.
They were living their lives,
improving themselves,
but still open to the possibility of a relationship.
Their energy was open to whatever but they were doing other shit.

usually when we are looking in a totally different direction,
some potential pops up and wants to gets to know us.
it’s not something we try to do:

It’s something that just happens when our energy isn’t desperate or obsessed with trying to find someone.

this is where i’m at right now.
i’m not looking but if manz comes along,
and he is peak interest,
i’m open to seeing where it goes.

I’ve got a kingdom to build.
