first of all,
i love “industry” on HBO MAX.
i randomly started watching it when it was heading into the 3rd season.
binged it in like 2 days or so.
its got the sex,
drugs,
and “something to nothing” shit i love.
highly recommend even though when they start talking finance and stock shit,
i am always left feeling confused.

last night,
they came back for their 4th season.

Foxhole:

IT WAS GOOD.

i needed that energy especially after what i’m dealing with.
there is a scene that i’m still thinking about.
this is kinda spoiler but not really.
it doesn’t give away a plot point but…

the character of harper stern,
played by myha’la,
is a cut throat black vixen whose only loyal to power.
in the 1st season,
she was nothing but at this 4th season,
she is everything.
so in a scene,
she met a white wolf who is a major power player at a party.
by the end of the night,
he took her home and fucked her.
it was 1 part pleasure/3 parts business.

what they don’t tell you in some industries,
people fuck for power,
financials,
and/or closing a deal.
gay or straight.
personally,
i think more exploration happens more than we think.

so the white wolf asked her to go in his closet to get something.

he asked her to peg him with a big black strap.

the part where she is looking in the mirror,
naked,
and wearing the strap really sat with me.

it wasn’t so much about the massive dick,
but moreso her seeing visually the power she has been chasing.
she was stroking it like she was feeling the power between her legs.

she has been moving in the show like she has a big dick,
but i think it was her seeing it and using it that was so interesting to me..

it’s like when i font you gotta put your big dick on the table and let others know who you are.

that is what’s stirring in my spirit about that scene.
i think many times,
we don’t realize we have been playing it small.
our power not only lies between our legs but in making shit happen too.
there are people who walk around here with less talent or skills,
but best believe,
they apply pressure like they got BDE.
you can’t and won’t tell them SHIT.
they gonna get that bag,
fuck that manz,
and/or live that life because they were taught to show up for themselves.

they have trauma but that takes a backseat in chasing goals and careers.

i feel like many people go after things and God meets them where they are too.
