when i saw what august fonted in return:

this is where the problem usually starts.
when it goes from “IYKYK” to “WDYM“,
which means:
there is something off there so lets start investigating.
many things don’t need to be explained,
especially when what worked was the shutting of the fuck up.
Can I first start out by saying that August Alsina looks great? For August to be 33 and Zu to be around 22, from a distance they look like they could be the same age.
What do they do for money? The last album that August released was in 2023, and honestly, did anyone buy it? Music as a whole isn’t popping like that unless you’re top-tier A-list talent. I see no chart-topping songs or sold-out tours, and even less so from Zu, so how do these two support themselves?
Zu’s comments do seem a little weird, because let’s get real, August has the money, the experience with age, and the access, which means more likely than not August is running the show. I can see why he would make those comments; you have to get out in front of things like this. People misuse and abuse the language of therapy,psychology, and criminology . People cavalierly throw out terms like “groomed”, “ predator”, “pediphile”, not really knowing what they mean because we don’t value education and expertise in our current society. For people to suggest that Zu was “groomed” simply because there is an age gap is irresponsible, reckless, and dangerous. Those types of accusations can have serious consequences both personally and professionally; for people to just throw that out there in order to instigate a crash-out is wild.
Can we have an adult conversation? Why is everyone scared to just say the quiet part out loud? When you look as good as these two do, there is only one reason for a 33-year-old to be with a 22-year-old; and that is SEX! Guess what, sex between consenting adults is normal. Why do we have to hide the fact that as people we have urges and desires, we get horny, and want to have sex, preferably with someone who’s tight and right or in some manner comes close to our sexual preference.
It feels like there was a desire for their relationship to be a bit more public (I’m guessing from the one who “calls the shots”, hence hosting a whole event at Atl pride. That followed by MORE public proclamations is what led to this whole thing. If they didn’t want ppl in their business or speculation then why bring it to us. Sure we could “care less”, but so could they…….. None of this would be a thing if they had continued to keep us out of their business.
It MUST be AGE. No seriously, it must be age. I’m 40 and when we were growing up no one gives a fvck about who was sleeping with whom. We’re there messy situations? Of course but not like what is happening today. I mean why the fvck they need to disclose their business in public ? Jealous MFers will talk because THEY ARE JEALOUS. PEROOD. Memo to August and Zu. Shut the fvck up. Its no one’s business. Do YOU. DO BOTH OF YOU. People will always talk. Fvck Em. Let them talk. When u don’t respond it hurts them more. SMH..social media has fvcked up entire generations…wow.
