as i learn to really observe people,
i learn that those who are a “pro-” something are really insecure.
they play a good cosplay of “the strong one” or “i’m above it all” but…
These people are the first to be easily broken when the flames get too hot.
intense amounts of criticism usually breaks them.
that being fonted:
Lizzo annoys me to the core nowadays.
she was so amazing when she first came out and then took a serious left turn.
from the antics during the panny to claims of alleged bullying from her dancers.
you’d think she would lay low,
let this all blow over,
and come out with a song for us to forget those moments.
this is what i assumed she was doing because i haven’t heard her name in a minute.
nope!
i rolled my eyes when i saw her latest social media post…
kim kardashian gets dragged for existing.
she has been rolling with the punches since her debut.
every celebrity from bey to oprah gets dragged at some point.
No one told Lizzo to do the most for attention on social media and be an alleged bully BTS.
lizzo’s alleged private life doesn’t seem to match the message in music either.
all of this seems like her doing imo.
lizzo doesn’t have to see anything on social media either.
she has enough money to have the help deal with it.
if she doesn’t want to do that:
There are many features on every social media platform to block out the noise.
she can be in a bubble just by doing this on IG:
not only that:
She can delete the apps off her phone.
lizzo isn’t going anywhere.
she is having a temper tantrum and needed to vent.
they are gonna flock into her comments with comfort and she’ll be brand new again.
lowkey: i did font she was doing the most on social media.
the clown and those allegations came back to bite her on the ass.
I do empathize with Lizzo, I think when it comes to Lizzo a lot of people are dishonest. There is a huge difference between the criticism and dragging that Lizzo gets from the types that Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, or Cardi B gets. The biggest criticism I see that Kim Kardashian gets is that she “ culturally appropriates” and that her body “ is fake”, most of the dragging around Nicki is over her attitude and antics, etc. At the end of the day, it is accepted and understood that Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B are highly attractive and desirable women. Lizzo is fat-shamed all up and down media, it’s got to be hard to be deemed overweight, undesirable, unattractive, or downright ugly. While I get you can turn off Twitter and Instagram, this Lizzo dragging is everywhere, it’s on social media, it’s on YouTube, TV, and the radio; you can’t cut yourself off from everything and even if you could who wants to live like that in a modern-day America. Do I find some Lizzo dragging appropriate, yes; some of her previous outfits especially the one she wore at the Lakers game are inappropriate, but in all honestly they would be inappropriate given any body type.
When Lizzo first started to get some recognition and notoriety in the industry, the first thing people did was criticize her saying that this was the white man trying to promote obesity in the black community, all while everyone was running to get a Popeyes chicken sandwich.
My stance on Lizzo is this. I think she is talented and can make a hit song, she’s young at 35 years old and can put on an energetic show, she can benefit from dressing better, but when it comes to weight her body will tell her when it’s time for her to lose it. When it comes to age, weight, and your body, your knees, ankles, feet, and hips will be the loudest voices in the room.
