the lowkey steps make more noise than you think

i usually keep it lowkey but today?
i’m claiming my happiness.
for years,
i felt like an outsider looking in,
surrounded by my straight peers/associates,
always questioning where i stood.
picking up pom poms to cheer many of them on but when it came to me,
i barely got the same energy that i needed.
i won’t lie but it always hurt my feelings because it made me feel used.
i’ve come to learn

I was never meant to fit in.
I was meant to stand out and build my own world.

and guess what?
i did just that.

i spent years building a foundation in the background.
as you can see today,
my Foxholers always deliver the goods because we’re a nosy curious bunch.

i’ve been slept on and underestimated but that’s always my secret weapon.
every tongue that rose up against me to fell.
when they walked away,
they blessed me.
when some tried to acts of revenge,
it destroyed them more than it ever harmed me.
with a mind blessed by God,
brimming with words,
visuals,

and ideas.

i let my talent and heart represent first.

as for those straights?
well…

Let’s just font that their things were completely different.

as always,
thank you for all your support,
excitement,
energy,

and contributions
to this wonderful forest of ours.
