giphyi think she should have ex-nayed on the statement.
the proper way to handle it was just dance in the flames.
yes the fire is hot,
but don’t put your foot down your throat in the process.
i’d like to think kenya is smarter than this.
from the outside looking in,
this all looks pretty shady and can mess up her reputation.
smh.
on lighter news,
and a very short straw, this could all be a nice set up for her storyline next season.
she needs to start showing her dating as well.
ex-nay on her “business ventures”.
other than that…
no words on these shenanigans.

lowkey: the other ladies on that show shouldn’t throw stones either.
they all will get a turn at being embarrassed.
story lines must be made!

  1. He was with her for her birthday and everything. I was shocked when I read he was married, I thought he was cool. They were seeing each other for a minute cause Millionaire Matchmaker filmed her episode last fall. It’s sad.

They all need new story lines. I will not be watching RHOA next season if they are still talking about old shit. Tired of Kenya and Apollo drama on that show.

    1. ^she needs to spin it that she honestly didn’t know he was engaged.
even tho people want her to fall,
she has to be smart and handle this with kids gloves.

  2. People need to understand that reality tv is not real. What Kenya doing is no different from other reality show contestants. She’s not the only, everybody on reality tv fakes it.

    1. ^i would love it if they all sat at a table reading and talked out their scenes.
      reality tv isn’t real.
im starting to wonder if the beef is real?
hell was that big fight with joseline/Stevie vs benzino/althea on lhhatl real as well?

  3. So the man you love humiliates you and MARRIES another woman and hours after learning this on Twitter you wish him well.#Fake

  4. Not sure if I’ve shared this story before, but most things about RHOA (and ALL reality shows) are fake/contrived. Not calling Kenya a liar in this instance, but most of the story lines on these shows are contrived by producers. Then, the regulars think they get smart and speak, in secrecy/advance, on how they will play their scenes out and refuse to film with others.

Before RHOA premiered, I worked in media and was approached by one of their original flamboyant males about playing his love interest on RHOA. I said ‘no’ because the premise sounded dumb and I thought he was trying to pull a stunt on me for press. I believe, at this time, only Real Housewives of OC had premiered. Maybe RHONY had premiered. I can’t quite remember, because I didn’t watch BRAVO. The pilot for RHOA had JUST gotten green lighted.

Of course I love how RHOA rules the ratings on Bravo, but I hope people realize Reality TV is fake.

I worked on the set of House Hunters once. They spent several hours shooting how a car was parked and different angles on how this couple walked through a lobby.

    1. I remember a lady exposed House Hunters as fake. She said she had already closed on her house before the show. The other two houses on the show were her friends houses.

    2. ^ lurker for the win!

i was told of a certain reality show that had their cast come in,
all the scenes were on a board,
and they were told how they would film it.
this was told to me by the production assistant.

another reality show I witnessed being taped…
the producers told the star and her assistant when to walk in the room and to act like they were having a prior conversation.

i only get confused with the fighting and the drama.
you have to have real beef when you start coming to blows.

    3. LOL! Wow! This is why I will never watch those shows. I watched one or two eps. of RHOA with the fam once (and they didn’t even know who the characters were, so we really don’t watch lol) and it was so scripted it was unreal.
Its funny because the episode we were watching was when Kenya was having issues with her past boyfriend on the show, and I wasn’t sure if Kenya was being real or not. just take this franchise with a grain of salt lol.
Can’t stand watching black women publicly and deliberately degrade themselves all for some change. It doesn’t help the stereotypes. But hey, it’s none of my business! *sips tea*

  5. Patty Stanger got her in this mess and hasn’t addressed it. Patty doesn’t do background checks and thirsty engaged men come on the show. This is embarrassing — Kenya got PLAYED

  6. Why do folks watch reality shows? They are just scripted soap operas. Stop following this foolishness and start following some REAL stuff going on.

  7. A part of me wonders why are so many people surprised when this kind of things happen. Most people who want to be on reality TV shows are probably narcissistic ego maniacs who have the need for attention. Our country is so caught up in celebrity that we take attractiveness and a fairy tale existence over any real substance. Im not even shocked anymore when its revealed that these people are criminals, liars and cheaters. People who get up and go to work everyday and treat people good have no place on our TV screen. The public wants the beautiful, crazy personalities to entertain and so its not surprising when things like this happen. Does anybody think that a real millionaire would need help in finding someone to date.

    1. Wait a minute now, the answer to the last part is yes. They are people just like us man. Just because they have money doesn’t mean they all can find love. Most of them probably do not reveal their financial status right away because they know that all of their love interests will not be genuine if they did so.

If I revealed I had 10 million in the bank, Foxes would be lining up to get with me, maybe even some fellow Wolves willing to bottom just to get my money. Only a very few would be genuine. Not every millionaire is ok being with a person who is only with them for the money.
