how to infect your entire family with the rona in 1 easy step

ignorance.
those numbers represent ignorance to me.
in a pandemic of epic proportions,
that hasn’t gone away no matter what 45 tells us,
people are still being reckless with their (and others) health.
even if you have no symptoms,
others in your family might not escape the wrath of the rona.
a foxholer sent me a story about someone’s son who infected his whole family.
why?
well via “the daily mail“…

A Florida father is fighting for his life after contracting coronavirus from his son, who tested positive after ignoring his parents’ advice to stay home and not gather with friends.

John Place, from Plantation, is currently in the intensive care unit at Westside Regional Medical Center where he was put on a ventilator for more than two weeks.

The 42-year-old and his family all tested positive for COVID-19 last month after his 21-year-old son went out with friends one night and unknowingly brought the respiratory virus back to their home.

Place however, was the only who required hospitalization after four days of fever and nonstop coughing. He has now been in the hospital for nearly three weeks.

His wife Michelle Zymet said she had repeatedly pleaded with her stepson, who was not named, to avoid going out with friends and to always wear a mask.

‘He always assured me, “Don’t worry, mom. I’m doing everything right, relax, chill.” You know how these kids are, so I trusted in him,’ Zymet told 7 News Miami.

She said she begged him to think about his dad, who is at a higher risk of severe COVID-19 illness because he is overweight and diabetic.

But despite her pleas, he went out against her wishes one night in June, when he gathered with friends and removed his mask while eating and drinking.

Days later, he felt cold symptoms and a friend at the get-together told him she had tested positive for coronavirus. By then, it already had taken hold in the young man’s household.

‘You let your guard down just one time, it’s all it takes,’ Zymet added. ‘You come home, and you infect the entire house.’

The young man, who did not want to talk to the media, had told his father and stepmother that he initially thought he had a common cold and took over-the-counter medication.

he “initially thought he had the common cold“?
what in the ever lovin’ fuck?
in a damn pandemic in florida?

they should have named his ass so he could be publicly shamed.

people are selfish and ignorant.
it’s shameful and embarrassing that the united states looks like the ghetto.
all of the warnings and the pleas fall on deaf ears.
it is absolutely ridiculous how far we have fallen.
the southern states are a wreck because folks just don’t care.
the crazy part about the whole thing…

Trump’s administration wants this to go away silently.

every.
single.
thing.
is a mess.
some folks aren’t gonna take this shit seriously,
until.

  1. People don’t think it’s not just about them possibly getting sick you can expose your loved ones and possibly jeopardize their lives. If his father dies he will have to live with that guilt for the rest of his life.

I told my cousin that I miss my father but in a way I’m glad he is not alive because he had lung cancer, diabetes, and some other medical conditions. As his caretaker I would have been a nervous wreck caring for him during this pandemic.Afraid of going to the store and contracting COVID-19 and exposing him.

  2. Let’s try and see this from his point of view, maybe?… Businesses, restaurants/bars are open to dine in, however there are some guidelines to follow like wearing a mask, sticking to the group you came with and so on… He probably thought that he was doing everything right and following regulations and what not. He’s 21 and by the state having places open and running as usual can send a mix message. It’s like schools/parents preaching not to have sex until your married or an adult yet offer protection. Ok, if I decide to go do these things and follow the regulations and requirements I’ll be fine! If they don’t want things like this to happen, well close businesses where folks tend to gather.

  3. I was just talking to my coworker, he was telling me that his friends daughter went to Houston despite her parents not wanting her to go, now her father has been hospitalized. Everyone is at risk, I pray that God will help us get thru this, everyone please be careful.

  4. I won’t lie, that 21yr old could have been me and but luckily I had my score of eye styes since March on and off that has prevented me from meeting ppl. Thank god I tested negative tho but this story will make me think twice since I live with at risk parents.

  5. I’m trying to meet up with this guy i like before I leave the city of miami. Specifically just a dinner hangout/ watch a movie….

But miami seems to be out of control, but it’d be my last chance to see him before I go and idk what to think/do now since it’s supposed to be next week 🙁

      1. Thanks! I 100% will try. Everbody and thing around me is getting a lysol shower.
