i love brandy and monica with a passion buuuuuuuuuuuutttttt….

i don’t think brandy was ready to tour.

monica knows the tour life; brandy knows the “casual performing” life.
…and that’s fine but from walking off stage in chicago abruptly:

…and then had folks TITE they ended it there and didn’t perform “the boy is mine“.
brandy released an IG statement that it was dehydration:

…but allegedly,
she was complaining about sound issues.

…and allegedly canceled the meet and greet at the next tour stop.

if bey or rih did this,
folks would have never let them hear the end of it.

did brandy not prepare for this tour?
i’m not all that confused because brandy has done this in the past.
touring can be a grueling and exhausting process.
it’s like filming a TV show with take after take.
she was so excited for this joint tour but it seems like she can’t pull it together.

i don’t think i’ve ever seen brandy touring as much as monica and the others.
hell even mya is still out touring with tons of energy.

since this is turning out to be a disaster,
i think they should have done selective spots.

  1. This whole post was very shady tbh. And Brandy def is more used to touring than Monica. Monica’s first headlining tour was for Code Red. She just so happened to do the tour with NM recently. Brandy hasn’t toured in years but that’s because of Covid.
    But to say she won’t finish the whole tour because she ended one show 20 minutes early is shady and ridiculous. We all know Brandy is an easy target on social media, and more people make fun of her than come to her defense. I’m glad to see some people are extending grace.
