there have been so many stories of friends setting each other up.
the tragic story of shanquella robinson has been sitting in my spirit tjo.
for those who may not know…
Allegedly,
Shanquella was killed in Mexico on a friend’s group trip.
They claim she died of alcohol poisoning but that wasn’t the truth.
There is a video of her “friend” daejhanae jackson fighting her,
while she is naked and defenseless,
where her neck got snapped and her spine was broken.
Her friends watched and recorded as she was being killed.
One of the males in the video asked why she wasn’t fighting back.
It was like a pack of wild jackals cheering on a hyena kill a gazelle.

this is why i keep my circle small nowadays.
i’ve been in a smaller but eye-opening situation like that before.
someone i thought was my friend actually turning their friends against me.
they didn’t go as far as violence but i predict that if things got really bad,
it would have probably gone in that direction.
thank God i learned to play the game early on and moved cautiously.

i feel like you can tell when a friend isn’t really one.
it’s the little things they say,
how they don’t cheer on your wins,
the way they say hurtful shit disguised as jokes,
they want to know all your business but keep theirs quiet,
and the nonverbal body language.
not only that:
You don’t feel all the way comfortable with them
…but we choose to ignore that hunch or inner voice.
if you ever are in a situation like this:
DON’T GO ANYWHERE WHERE YOU ARE OUTNUMBERED.
…because if something happens to you,
they are gonna try and make it look like an “accident”.
you “slip and fell” when they jumped and threw you off a balcony.

hoping shanquella’s family get justice and closure for such a horrific crime.
may she rest in peace and her transition was a quick one.
This is just EVIL and SAD!! I pray everyone of those MFs get put under the jail!!! I remember years ago having a friend that would invite me on weekend trips with them…but when they would get with the other friends…I was often talked about and belittled because I wouldn’t participate in the things they were doing….So I cut them off completely!!! In this day and age u can’t trust the people who u call a “FRIEND” It’s likely they will fuck u up quicker than your enemy!!! My prayers goes out to that young lady family!!! Charge his ass that was recording as an accomplice. He clearly stated, “fight back or something”. Charge the woman with First Degree Murder. Charge every other person with attempted murder for lying about Alcohol poisoning. Since it was in Mexico, let their ass rot in a Mexican prison
