we all have dreams in life.
many of us climbed out of the hood,
and fought many dragons,
to become big deals in our careers and personal lives.
many people said we couldn’t do it but we proved them wrong.
caresha aka yung mami,
1/2 of city girls,
has big dreams too.
she wants to be the next black oprah…

Is she not black?
Black Oprah!!!!!!!

so in order for her to be the next “black oprah”,
she needs to cater to white audiences while promoting black culture.
that is how oprah did her thing tbh.
it was a different time in the 90s too.
oprah played the game pretty well.
she knew where her bread was buttered and built on that.
a majority of her audience who supported her were white vixens.
Caresha doesn’t have to do that BUT she has to keep grinding with her podcast,
“Caresha Please”.
i think she has found her calling with that platform.
she needs to focus on being caresha than oprah.
oprah opened the door for black faces to have talk show platforms.
caresha can take that baton and do her own thing.
she seems to know where her bread is buttered.
grind and build…

Sigh the sad part is I genuinely think Miami meant no harm in what she was saying, what I think she meant was she wants to be the “Ghetto” Oprah, but I’m sure she equates her ghetto behavior & dialectic as what “black” is, cause she doesn’t know better
I really think she misspoke to tell you the truth. At least I hope she did. Unless she was talking about culturally because Oprah never gave me coon vibes.
^ you know it’s weird but i’ve met so many black people who hate oprah and think she is a coon.
Is it me or does it seem like the younger generation just doesn’t have respect for people who came before them. You have the one guy disrespecting the older rappers and now Caresha acting like Oprah isn’t black. She’s the same one that said she would beat the shit out of her son if he was gay. Everyone doesn’t need a platform 🤷🏾♂️
^ ak saying rap legends are dusty is out of control.
i feel like most of gen z thinks they were the first to ever do it.
it’s weird sauce.
