You ever stop to wonder what happens
to these Wolves/Foxes/Hybrids/and Vixens once they fall off?

You know, the ones who are steadily trying to be online stars.
The ones who think they can rap good because they look good.
The ones who think because they got over 10,000 followers,
that they made it in life.

Is everyone trying to be a star?

Attention whores live a tricky life.
They always have to be on,
but they also have to make sure their secrets do not get out there.
They have to generate as much buzz doing random shit,
that we secretly want to know more about this person.
They have to make sure they stay on top of the other attention whores.


It seems tiring, to be honest.
Then, as luck would have it, someone puts all their shit out there are ruin the fantasy.

They either turn out to be broke, gay, losers, drug addicts, whores, and even crazy.

When the lights dim and the pictures don’t get the same hits anymore,
what happens next?
Do they go off to get a job?
Do they do whatever it takes to make money?
Or, do they finally settle down and live off someone else (hence the “whore”)?
I always wondered what happens to an attention whore once they stop getting attention?
Is their sole purpose in life just to command as much attention as they can before their time runs out?
Or, do they end up living a pretty decent life with tons of memories to tell stories with?

Back in the day,
before Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace became the new “Hollywood”…
you had to have actual talent to be a celebrity.
This is how the term “1 hit wonders” came about.
They only were worth that one poppin’ record or couple of movies.
They vanished into the sunset and we moved onto someone else that has to prove themselves.
Nowadays, we just give ANYONE shine – and these motherfuckers ain’t even worth the spotlight.

So I had to ask, what happens to these people?
Do we care once they fall off?
Are we just using them as eye candy and mindless entertainment?
Or…

Are these attention whores here to stay?

    I get that he’s seemingly talentless (although, if we’re being honest, his song wasn’t that damn bad. I’ve heard worse on the radio. And if it were to ever come on in the club, none of us would complain about it).
    I also get the fact that he is, apparently, homophobic.
    But other than that, what’s the issue?

    We are pretty much on the same page with this. I would not classify the feeling as hate, but annoyance. It seems that whenever I surf the net, I see him (among others) somewhere. It is overexposure. Money makes the world go ’round. I do not blame him for trying to capitalize off of it.
    Get what you can get while the getting is there.

    Kim Kardashian has created an entire career of irrelevancy, but she stays at the tip of everyone’s tongue. We now not only know her, but her entire family. They’ve capitalized on what, seemingly, should have been pretty fucking embarrassing for her.

  12. I do not believe that it is always their intent to be an attention whore. We, the people, tend to elevate them to that position. If we do not watch their vids, listen to their musics, etc, then what would happen to them? They would disappear. Take George for example. It is obvisous that he his fine as hell. He knows it. People make a big deal about it. Women (and possibly men) throw themselves at him pubically, so he remains in the spotlight. If all of it stopped today, would we care? Probably not. I know I wouldn’t. It’s a repeating cycle.

She made a sextape yearts ago with Ray J, and we are still talking about that bitch. She’s became so popular she has her own damn show. Kim keeps herself relevant by being infront of cameras and dating athletes and rappers.

  14. Attention whores are never here to stay they give us bullshit entertainment to laugh at and joke about and then its on to the next attention whore. Attention whores switch out very fast if you notice their is always a new one coming out the woodwork doing the same shit but just a different face and its really getting tiring lol they can’t sing,rap or act they just need to sit down
