i like to go down my timeline to see the opinions from the show.
instead i see everyone talking about this new song,

as usual,
black folks cosign bullshit and wonder why they don’t get ahead…

i love drake.
i have all his mix tapes and albums.
he usually says things that inspire me,
but “no new friends” is the stupidest thing he has ever said.
he is going to have these black folks worshiping that shit like it’s the gospel.
i won’t be.
i like meeting new people,
but as friendly as i am,
i am also a cautious fox.
there are a few key things i’ve learned over the years:

don’t tell everyone your business.
have something you keep a secret.
every smiling face isn’t happy for you.
don’t tell anyone how good your man fucks you.
people gossip and are gossiping about you.
trust actions; not words.
never do business with friends.
work colleagues will stab you in the back for a promotion.
some females can’t hold water.
stop burning bridges because your bad rep will bite you in the ass.
you will know who has your back in a scandal.
don’t be so quick to call someone your friend.
give everyone a rope so once they hang themselves: bye bye.

its the mofos screaming,
no new friends,
you gotta watch out for.
they’re the ones who don’t know how to be a friend.
friendship done right,
no matter the time frame,
can be a beautiful thing.
you never knew who will be your biggest ally.
they also don’t realize is those niggas who been down day one,
the ones who know all your secrets,
those are the ones who will stab you in the back a lot faster.
they’re the ones who been plotting on your downfall.
they’re the ones who are jealous and envious.
they’re the ones to fuck your man because you are happy.
don’t think otherwise.
how many of these rappers start out with all their niggas from the block,
and then after a few albums and some success,
it’s just them on the stage accepting the award?
