i forgot all about that award show.
i could have watched but didn’t care.
ever since the bet awards went downhill,
and i found out how ratchet and disorganized it is bts,
i have been over it.

award shows are the time to bring out legends,
surprise guests,
debut a new remix,
something,
anything.
shaking your ass just doesn’t move the meter anymore.
everyone does it/has done it so it’s not brand new anymore.
i heard they messed up tina turner tribute for aunt patti too.
other than that,
this looks all very mid.
i’m glad i was able to witness when these award shows were lit.
i feel like folks don’t know how to put on a show anymore.
the whole process of being a celeb is lazy nowadays so i see why.
like a sexy male once you get him in the sack…
They don’t have to put in work because they don’t have to.

Patti said those where are the words so the background singers sang the song. You can tell that wasn’t the song she rehearsed but she was trying her best to sing it. I think she wanted Proud Mary and they decided to give her Simply The Best.
This is what happens when you have a child or spouse manage your career. Zuri dropped the ball by not going over the lyrics with his client. Mom or not do the job you’re supposed to do. Also what happened at the sound check? Was their one? And why didn’t Patti know the prompter was too far away then?

I haven’t watched the show but the red carpet pics were a hot mess.They lived up to the nickname “EBT” Awards.Also I didn’t recognize most of the people on the Red Carpet.
As for Patti she’s almost 80 I will extend her grace.I read they changed the song she was going to perform and the audience was standing up in front of the teleprompter.
I glimpsed at it for Mother Patti! That was a disaster. If Aunt Patti cannot find her key, you know it is a hot box of junk. The orchestral track or something had Mrs. Patti sounding off key. I bet Patti cussed somebody the F🤬🤬K out.
This was for the five -15 years old crowd. It was beyond awful.
I didn’t know it was coming on either. And didn’t care. The only thing I was semi interested in is if Patti was gonna sing Private Dancer.
I don’t know if I’m just not interested in celebrities anymore or this new batch just doesn’t have IT. i think it’s both.
