j. august richards is having a “YES”

i like it when i see black gay couples take pics like ^this.
don’t get me wrong,
i lust pics like this too:

…but i love couples who dress up and show us living outside the bedroom.
it seems like love is in the air for many black gays these days.
folks are debuting new relations or revealing secret ones.
j. august richards is checking a new box in his relationship…

ENGAGED.

they are both a handsome couple!
i think many gays need to realize love can happen.
right now,
it feels different but the future is filled with surprises.
it can require us to step outside our comfort zones.
many of us need therapy to help us learn to love ourselves tho.
this life does come with a lot of trauma and abuse.
i told my therapist today after years of being single

I’m ready to date again.

…and i’m still not even looking.
i can admit that i would NOT have made a good boyfriend before.
as you all have witnessed in my past wolf hunts:

i hated myself and was an extreme pick me.
i was attracted to broken wolves that acted as a mirror.
it made me want to fix them in hopes that it would fix me.
nah.

I need my manz to be together and be his own entity.
I wantz him but I don’t needz him.

when the time comes,
love will find us.
congrats to j. august richards and his fiance!
many blessings from the foxhole for them both!

  1. Congratulations to them both!!! This is beautiful to see. Let them last forever!!! 🙏🏾♥️🙌🏾✨💯

  2. I love to see brothers embrace their feelings of love for one another. Beautiful couple and I pray that there relationship last for years to come. To your comments it’s true if you don’t love yourself loving someone else is going to be hard. Like you said you trying to fix them when you need fixing yourself.🤎👊🏼

  3. I was talking to a friend about how I miss MySpace

Because no one had an ego during that era there were no influencers we all were regular kids

We had friends not followers. U were my friend I was yours. There was no questioning a follow back. The tiers of popularity is what stops a lot of good relationships. Men want a partner with equal following. Then they get him and it’s a shit show.

I also miss being able to search based on height, physique and ethnicity. Social Justice would never let that happen today. This is why I feel ppl broadcast their preferences because it’s harder to find what we DO actually want. I had so many guys I was talking to regularly aged 16-22. Now I’m lucky if I’m attracted to one man every year and a half. Everyone is so damaged and used up. It’s honestly sad.
I find myself questioning gays reasons for being in relationships together.

    But congrats to the couple

  4. I live for him, Justice Smith and Greg Mathis Jr!

This makes me SO happy. I had a crush on this dude since Angel!

  5. J. August and Josh did a great interview with Gaye Magazine yesterday. They explained how they met on Josh’s birthday,it’s an interesting story because J.August didn’t know Josh has an identical twin.Josh’s twin is straight and married to a woman and J.August joked that he hopes he never gets them mixed up.Because a couple of times Josh’s sister in law got them mixed up.She thought she was touching,it sound like she was groping her husband and it was Josh, his twin☺.

Another interesting part of the interview was the interviewer asked Josh what it was like watching J.A. do love scenes with a man in Vampire Academy and he said he loved it,it actually turned him on because it was like watching a character,it was not like watching J.A.
    Congratulations on their engagement

Gaye Magazine also did an interview with Greg Mathis Jr(Judge Mathis son) and his boyfriend Elliot,it was good too.I liked how both couples discussed the conflicts they have had in their relationships and didn’t pretend everything is perfect.

  6. I love this. I also love that he is with a brutha and that he found someone of a similar age. They make a handsome couple and I wish them the very best!

Yes, my brutha. I am happy and excited to see this post ( smile) .Black on Black , Male to Male love is real!!

I am in a committed relationship and have been for over 5 years!!! I tell both Black Men and Women those exact words “The future is filled with surprises”

    1. ^ i think we have to have our inner child’s expectations in life.
keep our imaginations alive and keep our past experiences at bay.
people are successful manifesters because they are always optimistic that things will work out.

i’m trying to work on this.
