Dez is always been known to make himself look quite foolish. But I’m laughing bcuz they simply started saying imane was man after she dominated her competition so far in these Olympics. I am disappointed because I fail to see the value in persisting in foolishness. Why is it so difficult for people nowadays to simply admit when they’re wrong when new information becomes available?
In my view, individuals like Dez Bryant are dangerous because they embody and promote the idea that right and wrong is not about information or facts, but simply a matter of confidence. In their minds, the more confidence you have, the more right you are, and that’s not reflective of the real world. The information is out there, and we know that Imane Khelif is a woman and has always been a woman. They should just apologize and move on.
As a side note, this issue seems to reflect our problems with politics within the black community. Many black men and black women have an unnatural obsession with gay men and trans-women, acting like it’s the number one issue in the community when there are 150 other more pressing matters.
