are we really giving ice spice a crown for just showing up?

i feel sorry for all the female rappers,
those still in the game and not,
who’ve had/have to work their asses off to get their crowns.
the ones who had to dodge rape and sexual assault by jackals bts.
the ones that were victims and haven’t yet told their stories.
when in 2023,
you can have one hit song and be crowned “the people’s princess“…

…by doing absolutely nothing the others haven’t done.
i can understand nicki getting the queen of rap title since she paid her dues.

…but has Ice Spice really put in work or have a story to show why she deserves the crown of the People’s Princess?

…or are her “people” not “our people“?
bad enough the queen of rap kilt her on her track.

i have a feeling this is not gonna end well.
i need to see four top-selling albums before i hand out flowers and crowns.
you don’t get clout off participation points for just showing up to class.

lowkey: look up why princess diana was crowned the “people’s princess”.
