now i know house of the dragon ain’t trying to abuse us too?

Ugh.

Foxhole,
i can font you we still feel utterly gaslit and abused with game of thrones.

the way they ended that show?
PTSD.
seriously,
what were they thinking?

i’m still get night terrors thinking about it.
we were all hesitant about giving ‘house of the dragon’ a chance.
after hearing the showrunners from GOT were banished,
they gave us a glimmer of hope but with low expectations.

First season?
Knocked it out of the park.

granted,
it had a few flubs,
but nothing we couldn’t overlook.
naturally,
we were excited for the second season.
this season had a couple of great scenes leading up to the season finale,
teasing us of war and a big show down and…

…and then the credits started to roll.

“Tune in for season 3 in two years!”

EXCUZED ME????

first off,
that had me real tight.
second,
this ridiculous fan service with rhaenyra and alicent.
these two vixens loathe each other.
this is all alicent’s fault why this shit is even happening.
they’ve both lost kids in their feud.

Why are they having these tender “ABC Family” moments to chat?

the conversation they had last night was pointless.
book alicent was practically cersei from GOT: ruthless and unforgiving.
the “holier the thou” act worked in the beginning but in the second season?

TV alicent is all up in her feelings,
realizing she was wrong,
and having revelations after camping trips?

don’t even get me started on daemon’s “mickey’s haunted mansion” arc.
who TF is writing this show?

at this point,
we need to drag them for violating us.
we need to drag them for making these characters so soft.
we need to drag them for listening to teenager girls shippin’ “rhaelicent”.

I get the season was about respect,
losing and gaining it,
but there was no ruthlessness in-between that we loved in GOT.

the original got would never be this tame.

We didn’t drag them enough for a do-over on that show and HOTD shouldn’t get off easy either.

period.

lowkey: i’ll give compliments to the actors.
they all did amazing jobs with what they were given.

i’d love to see the scenes they cut.
i heard criston cole and alicent had an intense sex scene.
