they might have gotten eggs on their faces

A price hike panic that felt more scrambled than than anything else.

it was interesting to me to see this discussion about the price of eggs.
when i went into the supermarket,
eggs were like 3 to 4 dollars on average.
i like mine “cage free” but during the Rona,
they were like 7 dollars at one point.
after rona,
my grocery bill as a whole became much more affordable.

Imagine my surprise when he started harping on grocery bills like they were sky-high.

this man dog-walked biden/harris for inflation,
built an entire campaign on “lowering costs”...

and now in his “time’s man of the year” interview via the hill

In a wide-ranging interview with Time magazine, Trump struck a more measured tone than he did on the campaign trail.

But asked if his presidency will be a failure if food prices don’t come down, Trump replied, “I don’t think so.”

“Look, they got them up. I’d like to bring them down. It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up. You know, it’s very hard. But I think that they will. I think that energy is going to bring them down. I think a better supply chain is going to bring them down,” Trump said, noting the supply chain is “still broken.”

Trump frequently blamed the Biden administration for high grocery prices during the 2024 campaign, often railing on the campaign trail against hefty price increases for bacon, cereal, crackers and other items.

not to mention his “meet the press” interview:

He’s casually announcing prices will go up and can’t come back down.

are we all seeing this plot twist?
am i understanding this correctly?

i thought his entire thing was bringing costs down was his major priority?

meanwhile,
the other candidate wanted us investing in first homes,
hard launching businesses,
and thriving.
since the eating of pets was the driving force behind his win:

Looks like Fancy Feast might become the new meal of choice.

bon appétit,
america.
you might have ordered wrong.

lowkey: its been very quiet.
the laughing has stopped.
the jokes and ridicule is over.

“she ain’t black” is a non factor.
reality is setting in and regrets are on the menu.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
