The Complex Relationships of a Fox and a Rapper Wolf

I always wondered what it would be like to get with a Rapper Wolf?
How would I relate with one?
Would he take me on drive bys?
Would he fuck me “Doggystyle” while we were high on “Chronic”?
Ya know, the important questions…

Maybe…
Just maybe…

This may be a particular type of relationship, but I think it’s more common than most care to admit even without the Wolf’s status. I could recall a few stories I’ve been told off the top of my head.
The idea some dudes find this type of relationship appealing or even remotely healthy is troubling to me. I didn’t even find it sweet when they held hands because he went psycho the next minute.
Of course this is coming from someone who assumes love feels something like climaxing for an extended period of time so forgive my ignorance.

People who idealize this type of relationship are the same ones who are rooting for Rihanna and Chris(tina) Brown to get back together. There seems to be this mode of thinking that violence in a relationship is okay and somewhat healthy. Its very troubling to me as well but as i talk to more and more people, they are willing to separate the image of someone (cute, famous, masculine, wealthy, etc) from the actual person (emotionally unavailable, controlling, abusive, etc).

  2. Sooo I watched this and if this is an accurate portrayal of how men court and carry on a pseudo-relationship no wonder everyone is fucked up and whoring instead.

Why would you want someone who treats you like that right off the bat? I mean typically women who date men like that were courted or charmed by him initially, but dudes still find him attractive when he treats you like shit from jump? I don’t care who you are I would put you in the ground for talking to me like that period.

I would rather be a male whore until I’m 80 and in adult diapers or married to a Rasputia looking bitch, than be in love with a dude and be like either one of those characters.

  3. Fuck Kal! I was rooting for Tariq; he put up with way too much bullshit during this whole thing. How you gonna be a masculine bitch? Afraid of your own fucking shadow? Miss me with that shit. Supposed to be masculine but worried about what the next man/woman gotta say about you living your life. Save that shit.

Men like Kal should be exposed and destroyed, one by one.

  4. Did anyone think i WASN’T going to turn out that way? This same store of closeted masculine wolf with out comfortable fox has been told before and the outcome is always the same.

  5. I just watched part 6 to this and it was sad as hell, y’all gotta to see it. Poor Tariq. 🙁

    1. Awww man…dayum. I can’t say any more cuz I don’t wanna ruin it, but my heart just broke…for both of them.

  6. #whoisjamarifox :
    ^ WHOA AT HIS FACE.
    Seems fishy.
Me thinks Fox was about to out him and he put in some work on his face.
    Sad.

Read the comments in the second article, people can tell this was not a conflict with two “roommates.” This was definitely domestic violence. The details behind what happened are vague and probably will never be found out. But for sure they were together and the man has a history of violence. It was only a matter of time before the boyfriend was going to get assaulted himself.

  7. There is definitely something very real to Tariq and Kal. This is definitely what wolves are like who have an image to protect. Some are bold with it when they’re more established but those who teeter on the balance of falling off tend to display their insecurities in the manner displayed on this show. So as great and wonderful as it all may look, it all comes with a price. There were moments in this story that definitely happened for me. Not the violent stuff since i got out of the situation early but the moments when they were together. Holding hands for the first time. The possessiveness. Him about to go off on people on the street when we were together. It’s all very real…

    1. ^isnt that the scariest thing for a Fox?
For a Wolf to put his hands on you?
You can never say anything because the police don’t count any of that as a “crime”.

So you are stuck with a broken jaw and medical bills.
      Very scary.

    1. Lol I’m sure he’s healed by now and back to himself. Definitely sleeping together though. You can tell by the body language. I’m surprised this story didn’t make the foxhole. I must have read it and thought it would eventually. These relationships exist. We just have to pay more attention.

  8. First of all… I love Cassie Steele!! Go Degrassi!… but anyway I’ve had this but with a drug dealer. Its intoxicating!! But stressful and you have to walk pretty lightly. They are CRAZY! But they portrayed this relationship VERY WELL. This is the fantasy come to life! It always ends the same though. I’d imagine its the same tumultuous relationship for most of the foxes dating someone in the spotlight. I hope you all remember that one big football player beating up his “roommate.”

        1. ^oh this is really suspect.
I imagine they were getting it in.
This must have gotten swept under the rug.
          I heard nothing about this!

          That show represented something real.
          That is how they do.
The “let me act like I do not like him” bullshit is always a cover.

          Kinda turned me on,
But that is another story lol

  9. I made out with a rapper one time… but I couldn’t take it any further because his homies wanted in on me… and i aint with that “com’on ride the train” bullshit… So i hightailed it out of there, he’s a new rapper too… he has a hit out there…

    1. You might as well spill it nigga. Better yet, just send Jamari an email in advance cause you know he’s gonna ask.

  10. Seen this epi a few days ago, had me all into it. I thought it was pretty good cant wait to see more. Reminds me of the days of watching Noahs Arc.

  11. (my phone is a bitch) @jamari we met through mutual friends while i was in college. He was my first gay experience. We dated for about two years. The sex was awesome but i knew i couldnt change him and thats why we parted. To this day we are still cool but im in ATL and he is in CHI. He is kinda well known there but he is more underground…he was never the Hollywood type..

  12. I’ve dated a rapper before and it was fun and destructive at the same time. He was nothing like the bitch ass rappers you see on tv. He was the REAL thing. We smoked weed and drove around in his drop top. The killer was he never once denied me in public. Everybody knew our tea and respected it. Dude was sexy. He reminded of Micheal Ealy (think Barbershop) i cant remember why we stop fuckin around but i miss those romp. That boy had an ass on him… Damnit Jamari…i miss my wolf!

  13. Definitely meant to put you on this. I’ve seen all 5 episodes. It’s coming to the CW in the Spring!

    1. But do you think the CW is going to show these episodes as they are, or try to recast & eliminate this story line? I mean, it’s well-acted & draws you in…those two guys look good 🙂

I just wonder if America will be ready…Canada is a lot more accepting of diverse opinions
