rihanna never forgets

when i make it,
and in my entire bag,
i am going to make sure i give back to my island like rihanna does.
one thing i love about her is she never forgets about her people.
this is what she did for barbados in regards to the rona...

Rihanna has reportedly offered to buy $700,000 worth of ventilators for her home country of Barbados as the coronavirus crisis continues to escalate.

Barbados reported two new cases of Covid-19 this week, taking the island’s total to six.

According to Kevz Politics, the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, has announced that the pop star has offered $1.4 million Barbados dollars for the purchase.

she also donated 5 million from her “clara lionel foundation” for the rona:

i really love my bajan sis.

  1. yasss Rih Rih, a true regal princess, we love to see it. She’s dominated music, beauty, underwear, and philanthropy. A lot of folks forget she’s the 1st musician to win Harvard Humanitarian Award, an award once given. to MLK Sr. for what she did for Barbados with the cancer hospital, the scholarships she gave away, and her work in Malawi and more places. And did I mention she still has more #1s than anyone in the 2000s decade and has more than Whitney(RIP love)and Michael but nah ppl can’t stand bad gal riri who don’t bother nobody.

  2. Sorry but I’m gonna be “that guy” ……..yet again.

I’m of the belief that real super heroes don’t wear capes and tights. They don’t give interviews to the press, and people don’t know their names. If you want to do good on the behalf of others just do it! When I hear about celebrities donating money I always give a side eye. $700,000 to a wealthy person is the equivalent of $32.00 to a working person. Additionally, I know people with wealth who have donated to various causes while sponsoring kids to college as well as paying for medical procedures for children in 3rd world countries. Yet you’d never know about it because they refuse to post it on their social media nor alert the entertainment press. Only people whom are close to them will know. These are the true heroes. People who aren’t looking for a pat on the back.

    1. ^ at the end of the day tho,
i feel like rihanna didn’t even say anything.

the prime minister of barbados posted it
her foundation posted what she donated

      sure,
      some heroes wear silent capes,
      but something good was done.
      if anyone donated,
and is trying to help during these trying times,
we want to hear that there can still be faith in humanity.

i don’t see anyone talking shit when trump was talmbout sending out checks.
he shoulda been quiet about that before everyone gets disappointed LOL

      1. You can’t please everyone. Some people will try to find something to criticize about everything. Rihanna is helping her country. Whether she is loud or.quiet the result is the same she is helping people.

  3. Can’t wait to give back! When you’re blessed, you can bless others and it’s one of the best feelings in the world. There aren’t too many highs like it.
