Keep It On The Low Key (No One Better Know?)

juliaroberts1one of my favorite actresses is julia roberts.
not only for her movies and being my lust sign scorpio,
but how she carries herself.
she keeps out the public eye,
will cuss you the hell out for even violating that,
and knows she is good at what she does.
julia is my spirit animal.
i was catching up on my entertainment today and read her interview with marie claire,
on which her graces the cover in december.
she spoke on staying away from social media and how she doesn’t google herself period….

Julia Roberts is a lot of things to a lot of people, but there are two things she’s definitely not: a narcissist and a masochist. Covering the December issue of Marie Claire magazine, the Oscar-winning actress and married mother of three says she’s made a conscious decision to remain a luddite.

Unlike her peers, the Roberts doesn’t use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to connect with fans. “It’s kind of like cotton candy,” she says of social media. “It looks so appealing and you just can’t resist getting in there, and then you just end up with sticky fingers and it lasted an instant.”

Roberts isn’t in the habit of Googling herself, either. Knowing that the internet can sometimes be a cruel place, she avoids reading articles that might send her into an emotional tailspin. “I have too much potential for collapse. There’s an anonymity that makes people feel safe to participate in hatefulness,” the August: Osage County star explains. “I like a good old-fashioned fistfight if people are pissed off at each other. I just feel like if you’re really mad and want to have a fight, then put your dukes up.”

Having been in show business for nearly 30 years, the 46-year-old actress says she no longer sweats the small stuff. In fact, Roberts has learned to embrace the unknown.
“I think the reason I’ve been able to enjoy my career is that I always knew, for some reason—even when it was about getting a job to pay your bills and stuff—I always knew that it will surface, it will come,” she explains. “The things that are correct for me will come to me at the time that I am interested in them and have the capacity, the understanding, to do them.”

thumbs_up_matt_leblanci agree with every word.
i follow most of her beliefs as well.
have you noticed these days everyone is easily accessible?
hell we have seen them naked or close too it.
you give a nigga a phone that can record videos and he ODs on it.
how many wolf crushes have actually started to turn you off?

raise-handcorny,
narcissistic as hell,
just weird AF,
or all of the above.

so nothing about them should really be that shocking.
finding out they mess with dudes on the low could be a shock,
but i mean really tho?
hell id be asking,
“DTF wolf or what?”.
shit i have #noshame.
remember when that kerry rhodes/peanut scandal broke?
i loved that!
not because of the messiness that happened,
but because we did not know that was even going on.
if peanut didn’t show his ass,
or kerrys for that matter,
they would’ve probably still been together.
probably adopted a child from thailand or some shit.
either way i want the wolf i get with to mirror my life.
low key and lovin every minute of it.
hope you reading does as well.

  1. I agree with her. I am all about living low-key. Keeping private is the way to go if you don’t want you biz out in 2013. I don’t have a Twitter, instagram or none of that. I don’t tell people about my personal life either. The less you reveal the better.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
