detach from the outcome and live your best unbothered life

i learned a valuable lesson yesterday i wanted to share with the foxhole.
i think subconsciously i already knew this,
but i needed to catch up consciously.

The wonderfully relaxed state of being UNBOTHERED

when i heard trump didn’t sign the stimmy or didn’t extend unemployment,
i started to feel trapped in a cage.
during the day on saturday,
that was probably when i felt it worst.
i kept checking news reports constantly,
reading the same updates,
taking in other people’s trauma,
and giving myself immense self-torture.
by saturday night

I said FUCK IT.

i decided to move off that timeline of “attachment” and “fear“.
i said to myself The Universe got me and focused forward.
i felt much different than i did on the two days.
there was no checking shit or reading depressing stories of other people.
i played video games and upped good conversations with friends.
i was over it and was starting to think of what’s the next plan.
sunday night,
i randomly opened my phone and got a notification via “CNN“:

President Donald Trump signed the massive $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief and government funding bill into law Sunday night, averting a government shutdown that was set to begin on Tuesday, and extending billions of dollars in coronavirus aid to millions.

Trump’s signature of the $900 billion Covid relief package extends unemployment benefits for millions of jobless gig-workers and independent contractors, as well as the long-term unemployed.

The estimated 12 million people in two key pandemic unemployment programs, who were facing their last payment this weekend, will now receive benefits for another 11 weeks. Plus, all those collecting jobless payments will receive a $300 weekly federal boost through mid-March.

the lesson:

When you don’t have the answers for anything,
it’s best to leave it alone.
Move on with your life and be unbothered.
It’s when you move on from the attachment,
you get all your answers.

one of my very good friends,
yha’mourhia,
fonted me something that i saved on a sticky note on my desktop:

“I heard in my spirit yesterday: don’t lead yourself to get hurt. If you are going to learn about it, you will.”

so whatever is bothering you foxhole,
instead of stressing about it,
it’s time to remove yourself.
watch everything change in your favor when you learn to detach from all outcomes.

lowkey: it’s like when you move on from your ex,
suddenly they want to start blowing you up.
when you are chasing them,
they run and call you crazy.
when you move on,
the karma happens quicker too.

  1. THANK YOU!!!! I receive your thoughtful words of wisdom and care dear friend( smile)

  2. I’ve been in that space lately; stressing over things that hasn’t happened yet or can’t control.

Like you said, everything will work itself out in due time. Takes deep breath.
