i need a new job so bad that it kept me up all last night.
of course on a night i only slept 6 hours,
today had to pop off with the most issues and attitudes.
for one,
this job is a bridge that can’t sustain me long term.
with the way you gotta make 3xs the income to get your own spot:

it came at a good time when i needed it,
but the more i work at the job,
the more i realize this bridge is getting narrower.
working in a small suburban office is cool until…

your back up quits and you learn they are cheap to hire the replacement.

…so they’ll pile all of the work without a raise until further notice.
my boss is too much of a micro manager for that.
not only that,
the same boss snapped at me today over taking my break.

“you need to take your breaks when we all take our breaks.”

what?
that lets me know that i can’t get sick or it’ll be a code red.
i’m grateful for the opportunity and the restart:

but i gotta cross this bridge to a higher paying job,
that is going to give me benefits and more freedom.

plus,
doing something that meets my skills and talents.
i won’t quit until i find something new but i need something new.

lowkey: i want to work in entertainment again.
i don’t mind commuting back to new yawk to do so.
