be careful what you wish for… seriously

this movie was a trip.
Foxhole,
watch it now on HULU.

NOW.

we have to be careful what we wish for.
i’ve learned that many times tbh.
i’ve done it with wolves,
people,

and tbh,
transitioning to this place i’m staying at now.

it isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.
even though it drains TF outta you,
it either isn’t meant for you or meant to challenge you for better.

the pay off is you gain skills that the “easy mode” path didn’t.
i felt that way watching the 2023 movie,
what you wish for“…

not only did that movie alleged “tell some of these folk’s business”,
without any spoilers,
there was one thing that gave me an “a-ha” moment:

when you want something from a place of desperation,
more than likely,
you will learn very quickly to be careful what you wish for.

like with a manz for instance,
don’t we notice when we don’t need a manz,
they are all attracted to our energy?

side story: last night i was hungry while watching a movie.
i said fuck it and said my ginger ale and ritz were enough.
shortly after my desperation trying to figure out what to eat left,
i got hit up by someone asking me if i want a box of pizza.

there is a message there.
find it.

when i think back to all the times i desperately wanted something:

work wolf
various people i thought would make good friends
living in a space with a friend in a new area

DESPERATE!
DESPERATE!!
DESPERATE
!!!

and like ryan in the movie,
there were parts where i felt/feel absolutely doomed.
i’d like to think once i learned the lesson and the skills needed,
that’s when the solution/ending finally showed up.
i have to wonder tho that was it ever about getting what i wanted:

…or about breaking the desperation that made me want it in the first place?

lowkey: the next movie on the list is “blink twice”.
i heard that has similar “telling those people business” kind of vibes.
