You Couldn’t Get Jordans If You Was Fuckin’ Michael Jordan

What is it with these sneakers that causes black people to go crazy?

I know.
I know.
They are the hot “thing” that had people going crazy a couple days before Christmas.
Wolves were getting stabbed and beat up.
Vixens were suckin’ dicks and then braggin they got some poor stupid Wolf to cop em for her.
I personally would suck a dick for more than a sneaker…

But that is just me LOL
Wolf or Fox…

What is it about J’s that makes you lose your minds?

Now I won’t front and say I NEVER copped a pair of Js.
I had three pairs and I bought them because I was bored….
Out of the three, these were my favorite:

But you would NEVER catch me standing in some line to buy a pair of shoes.
Even if they were Kanye’s sneakers and he licked them personally.
Cum to think of it, I pretty much wouldn’t stand in any line to buy anything.
If it is that important, I’ll order it online.
But it leaves me wondering:

Where are our priorities as black people?

Sure, white people will camp out for a new iPhone or a Snuggie.
But, you never hear any incidents coming from them.
But with us, we got to look tacky.

COULD. NOT. BE. ME.

My connect at Foot Locker in the city
was telling me how this girl passed out from waiting in line for hours.
I mean she literally hit the floor for some Concords.

Yes, I’m judging.

I grew out of those kind of sneakers.
I’m on a whole new swag and as a Fox, I do not like rocking what everyone else got for the “moment”.
You can’t go to my kind of events wearing those sneakers.
Plus, I am sure if you did go to an event wearing those sneakers, you will see half the room in them.

FAIL.

I had to ask myself what makes Jordans so popular?
Is it a collectors item or a status black item?
And why does it cause so much violence just for a pair?
Or, violence if you own a pair?

I was so embarrassed to look at the news and see so much ghetto fuckery in one setting.
And then when you add “ghetto” and “fighting”, then it NEVER a good mix.
But would these same people standing in those lines…
Would they be that eager to be there to vote?
Or to get a job or maybe even apply to college?
Probably not…
I’m sure EBT checks were cashed in…
and rent was put on hold for those sneakers.

I don’t even see Mike Jordan himself even rocking his own Jordans anymore.
So really…

Are a fresh pair of Js really that serious?

  1. Why must I cry–This shit right here takes it to another level. Martin L. King and Harriet Tubman are rolling over in their graves and are saying this cant be life. This has Boondocks written all over it. Come and get your cousins please. The American Education system has failed its brown children. The news anchors and reporters laugh and expressions spoked volumes about this ghetto fuckery, so many of us have truly lost our way. I would not give a dime to support the sellout that is Michael Jordan, he could give a damn about these people, he is such a selfish egostical bastard. I wish we would put this much effort into worthwhile endeavors, instead of materialistic shit that wont last until next Christmas. SMH at this tomfoolery!!!!!!

  2. I love me some jordans,I’m about to get me another pair. I would have been fighting over them too, sike naw.

  3. Know what kills me the most is nobody has figured out that the same Js have been in rotation for ever. I use to b in Js hard in highschool but when I realized it was the same shoe commin out over and over again I stoped. Smh people smh

  4. I got them, but I probably won’t be wearing them for a while.
I don’t like having on the same shoes at 50+ people in the room.
Personally, I don’t wear Jordans as some symbol of status. I just find that Jordans are very comfortable for me and they last a while.

I went to a less crowded mall and didn’t wait very long at all. Some of the fuckery I saw in the black shoe stores was unbelievable.

At the end of the day, my bills were paid, my gas tank was full, and I still had money in the bank, so if I wanted to treat myself thats my biz. At the same time, it wasn’t that serious for me to be leaving my kids in the car or anything like that. I DID however have my father’s gun on me because it is robbing season and I am not a fool.

      1. Hell yeah I did! I bought two pairs and I had to walk to my car.

I was looking like I just robbed a bank the way I was fast walking to my car. lol

You saw the videos, imagine actually being there. Niggas were acting like ANIMALS.

I was indifferent to whether I got them and I ended up with a pair, while some of these dudes busted windows and still came home empty-handed.

  5. I swear I tweeted the same thing the other day!! It’s crazy and bogus.. What makes me so sad is that MJ knows his target market isn’t ppl with money, it’s underprivileged ppl who want the shoes as a status symbol.. It cost less than 10 dollars to make a pair, so why the hell are they $200? I cant lie, I own J’s, and can also afford them.. But I barely stand in the line at the grocery store, and I need to eat to survive!! I definitely ain’t gettin in line for no goddamn shoes!

    1. ^i feel you!!!!!!
      And the sad part is,
You can’t even wear them like you want because some jealous hoodrat would bash your head in and steal them off your feet.

      We good over here.
