its a barbie world and nicki minaj and the red head run it

this has been quite the pairing.
the one on the left i’m still confused about.
the one on the right can get annoying when she gets grumpy.
when nicki minaj and ice spice paired up for “princess diana“:

…i still say that nicki was the main draw.
the song is “eh” but nicki made lunch out of it.
when i heard their next pairing,
“barbie world” for the barbie soundtrack was going to be 2 minutes,
i was not expecting greatness whatsoever.
well…

i’m into that shit.
first of all,
the song’s sample is from the millennial vault:

can you believe ^this video has 1.2 billi views on youtube?
the way they cut up the sample was a chef’s kiss.

as far as the verses go:

Do I even need to go there?

for the second time in a row:

i felt like ice spice faded into the background.
again.
if nicki wasn’t on this soundtrack,
after all her barbie branding,
i would have been vex for her.
either way,
i like this track over “princess diana”.
i feel like this one is going to last longer on the charts.

lowkey: i hope a long version of this song comes out.
these clock app songs are killing the industry.

  1. I was surprised that I liked it, especially the TikTok length of it all 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Nicki delivered as usual, and little spice did what she had too, but her timbre is a little soft on the beat. Feels like she is fading into her own track. This collaboration likely won’t last, Nicki is strategic, she’s not trying to be aligned with any of the girls if we are keeping it honest and real.

Overall it is a very likable song and will get the barbz going. Good for Spice as a newbie in the game. They’re definitely going to pair her with a yachty or Pardi to extend that shelf life. Capitalism in full effect 😂

  2. This song is more catered towards the movie and soundtrack so I wont judge it however Nicki keeps making songs with mediocre artists that gave light bars and I feel in my personal opinion it’s dimming the light of her Greatness. At this point she should have songs that’s on a different level. Her songs are becoming lazy, the bars are lazy and I’m like Nicki as a long-term fan I’m like meh 😐. I loved Red Ruby the sleaze though and some of the punchlines.

  3. It’s really a lil bop… the only thing I disagree with you on is Ice’s verse. When the beat changes she sliddddddddd. That “I keep dragging her, so she’s bald a bit” line, tuh lol! I am curious how long this pairing is going to last though. I don’t mind it at all and I think it’s actually a win for them both.
