everyone has stories but many of them aren’t best sellers

*You ever met someone and was intrigued by their mystery?
like,
you wanted to know more but they were real elusive about their moves.
the moment you got to know them tho,
they killed all the vibes because they weren’t what you thought they’d be?

snap.
ig.
facebook.
whatsapp.
twitter.
all of these platforms have stories.
kim kardashian’s social media is determined to kill folks mystery.
everywhere we turn,
there is another platform urging us to share our lives in story form.
this is the latest to join in on the story hype…

according to spotify via ( x endagadget ):

“At Spotify, we routinely conduct a number of tests in an effort to improve our user experience,” a spokesperson said. “Some of those tests end up paving the path for our broader user experience and others serve only as an important learning. We have no further news to share on future plans at this time.”

so i need to see what song you’re listening to?
tf?
the crazy part is:

Half these folks aren’t that interesting to be having all this story access.

like,
you like looking at your camera and eat lunch at 4.
so that’s the story?

all this accessibility is not attractive.
some celebs aren’t alluring anymore because we know everything.
the fact we know how common some of them really are shouldn’t be.
influencers jump on every wave and become too familiar.
don’t even get me started on the onlyfans boost.
just because your social media platform of choice has the option

It doesn’t mean you need to do it.

  1. I couldn’t agree more. It’s ridiculous. Unfortunately, social media has made basic ppl sitting in cubicle #7 think that their lives matter.

  2. Is this what being a hollywood celebrity is in 2020? Uh, no thanks.
My life is “boring” enough. Their money ain’t coming like it used to though.
