i have met MANY black vixens who made me feel safe and protected me,
especially from the jackals who bullied me.
there are MANY black vixens who wanted to be my friend for me and not my sexuality.
There are MANY black vixens who knew I was gay but never brought it up.
When asked by the nosy hoes,
their response was always:
“Why don’t you ask him?”.
many black vixens were doing great PR for me while my back was turned.
they all told me who the nosy bitch hoes were and how to proceed.

Never ending cycle of toxic relationships between men and women
I have to disagree with you on this one Jamari, I think @BlackkkStar is correct.
Women get too much of a pass in our society for the things that they either create, perpetrate, or uphold. Homophobia is homophobia whether it comes from a man or a woman. I get it, men are seen as more dangerous, and in certain circumstances, I would agree, but women do help to foment the stigma around homophobia and transphobia.
I like Wendy Williams, but you can draw a line from Wendy all the way to Tasha K and everyone in between. These women made entire careers out of threatening to expose DL men if not outright outing people. I’m old school so physical violence will always get the top spot in terms of importance, but we live in a new space where we have to also consider psychological harm. Exposing DL men or outing people is an act of violence by today’s standards, and given that people who are about to be dragged out of the closet against their will can resort to murder or suicide, women should get the same smoke as men.
How can you agree with that? Black women playing a part in homophobia does not mean they are the reason why there are so many DL men. Black men have set the standards on what they think Black male masculinity and behavior should and shouldn’t be. A lot of gay men are so in love with straight or straight appearing black men that you all also take on the misogyny and misogynoir they display. These straight black men have disparaged black women for being too accepting of lgbt people for decades. They have blamed black women for the reason it’s so many gay people especially men. So they get blamed by straight men and then simultaneously get blamed for not accepting and the reason for the DL. How can they be responsible for both? What really needs to be talked about is the misogyny that gay men and trans women display toward black women. Straight black men, gay black men, and black trans women are all types of black males that have a commonality of misogyny towards black women. Smh. The problem with DL is Black men and that’s who the focus should be on because the three types of black males I listed are the ones that are the most responsible for DL. Talk about how gay men and trans women support that DL reality.
My rebuttal would be, what’s wrong with women taking accountability? I don’t deny that misogyny, patriarchy, and toxic masculinity are a thing; but people must also recognize that misandry and toxic femininity are also a thing.
If we are trying to have a philosophical conversation, one could argue that in a patriarchal/colonial society, black men have little to no power to set a standard.
It’s funny Jay, because you kind of make my point in a way. Instead of just holding everyone accountable for the parts they play in upholding homophobic/transphobic stigma, there is this attempt to carve out an exception for black women. My whole argument and the argument that I believe @BlackkkStar was trying to make is that there aren’t any exceptions, hold each individual responsible regardless of gender and race for the parts they play. If someone honestly has a problem with this form of equality, please explain it to me.
If it’s about holding everyone accountable I am for that. The narrative though is that black women are THE reason. I didn’t prove your point because I addressed how black women play a part in homophobia. I just think gay men and trans women want to put more on black women because lowkey a lot hate black women. A lot of gay and trans envy women’s position and attention they have with men that gay and trans want. I’m all for holding everyone accountable but the portion they are accountable must be identified. Everyone is not equally responsible. Until gay and trans want to address how they keep the DL crap going don’t speak on black women. Until you acknowledge that when it comes to straight black men and women lgbt has a way bigger ally in black women than black men then keep your mouth off black women. Well…I see it from another angle. Im reluctant because we do enough to tear down each other in our culture already and in these times today where theyre coming for us in the day time and out loud; we need to stick together. Ill just say; one huge contributor is single moms raising boys and mamas boys (of which I proudly admit). Not that its bad…just a fact. Plenty receipts but its too many. That life tends to evolve and take on a vibe of its own every generation; Athletes and Entertainers especially. Now its masculine to the 100th power. No ones hiding anymore; its a vibe. Ladies too…but with situations like the “Diddy scandal” everybody retreats again back into the shadows. We have a target on our back regardless and every twenty years or so the weapons of choice change but black men are still the target no matter the orientation or status..but I do notice we still come up out the fuckin ashes…Black women too.
I think What they failed to mention toon is a lot of DL black men are bi. And if some women weren’t homophobic these men could be openly bi and date/fuck whoever they want. But for some men, being openly bi is by default choosing to be gay because of the amount of women who will not sleep with you, and claim that you’re spreading HIV.
So its alike you are saying women should continue to allow access to their bodies so bi men can feel comfortable. Women’s bodily autonomy goes out the window when it comes to an lgbt person wanting access. Smh
