it’s not actually “DEI” but being fatigued with black people

personally,
i don’t do:

Zeus reality shows (all reality shows tbh),
Brandy’s brother
The rapping jackal who has gone full “Yahtzee”
“Look at this new #72637267222 fight video with black folks”

as a black Fox in the community,
i can say and font this.
ten toes down with my whole chest.
when white folks say and font it,
it holds a different energy.
“DEI” is actually “black fatigue”,
apparently.
i saw this video on tiktok and i didn’t even know this was a thing…

black dandyism or just being black in costume?

I don’t know if I was dreaming or what,
but I think I watched a documentary that a Foxholer suggested to me about black dandies.
For the life of me,
I cannot remember the name but it was about African dandies who live in a poor town or something.

anyhoo,
i really enjoyed many of the looks at the met gala this year.
(some of) the fashions gave drama and decadence.
you can tell who did their homework.
the theme this year was about black dandyism and had a 98% black committee.
black dandyism was used as a political statement.
learning pharrell had lisa from BLACKPINK wear rosa parks on her crotch:

that was not the tribute he thought it was.
it was tone deaf at best; performance art at worst.
i still don’t know what the hell he had sabrina carpenter wearing:

it giving ringmaster at the circus.
i don’t even want to get into that symbolism with a white vixen.
tiktok had thoughts and i watched a video that put things into perspective

black women are the reason why so many black males are DL

excuse my french right quick.
*ahem*

In every chapter in my life,
there was always some stupid BITCH who loved weaponizing to my sexuality.

they could NEVER mind their business.
it was always someone i thought was cool.
they were so busy in my front yard but in their own backyards:

A) they didn’t realize their manz wanted to stuff my ass with his cream

B) their own manz was cheating on them HEAVY or didn’t even like them

C) no one outside of their clique of other stupid bitches liked them either

sorry,
i had to get that off my fingers.

it has been sitting on my spirit for years.
it was always one defective hoe in the batch who was becoming like her mother.
they were evolving like a pokemon into the bitch mother they hated so much for being nosy.

ugh…
so a discussion about how black vixens make every male DL.
“the neighborhood talk” posted it and i wanted to correct something…

many white folks are still VEX at kendrick lamar for the super bowl

White America,
let’s font.

we’ve sat through your bruce springsteen anthems,
your queen ballads,
your ac/dc guitar solos,
your taylor swift eras,
and your madonna reinventions.

now i do like taylor and madonna.
still,
we watched and we nodded.
we even did a two-step when the beat hit.

…but now,
because kendrick dared to give a performance with depth,
lyricism,
and black excellence,

suddenly…

There’s an issue?

fox news is in shambles,
per usual…

we need a lit political music era for 2025

I don’t think I’ve ever admitted how much of a lowkey Aretha Franklin stan I am.
I love her music and it has def gotten me through hard times.

when did music stop being a movement too?
back in the day,
black artists didn’t just entertain:

They educated
They protested
They pushed culture forward.

sure,
we needed to dance and escape,
but we also needed to feel seen and to be uplifted.
artists like…

so i watched the halftime show with kendrick lamar and oof…

^this shot goes so hard.
the bending as the flag symbolizing how the US was built off the backs of blacks.
you KNOW that pissed them off but…

Isn’t it funny how some people only see the frosting but never question what’s in the cake?

last night,
while most were just hyped for “not like us” at the halftime show,
i couldn’t help but see the layers kendrick was serving.
first off,
let’s give drake a standing ovation…
