i don’t think folks see the seriousness of elon musk messing up twitter.
he clearly doesn’t know wtf he is doing.

it’s not even twitter anymore because it’s called ( X ) now.

One day,
we are going to have a discussion of why we allowed certain people in government,
platforms,
and the presidency.
They used their power to fuck everything up.

i think he thought people would be lost without twitter but:

At this point,
the only reason most people are on Twitter is for porn and to advertise their sex work.

once elon decides to take porn off the platform,
that social media app is over.

Threads isn’t gonna allow explicit content. It is connected to our IG as well. If that gets erased,
so does our IG.

Spill doesn’t seem like it’s going to tolerate explicit sex either.

  1. Believe it or not, Twitter porn is bringing in money mainly because it’s not allowed anywhere else. The paid blue check allows some leeway for them to allow it. They get to post longer videos. It’s a guaranteed fact, once you remove the porn, the site itself is definitely dead. Look what happened to Yahoo Groups, Yahoo Geocities, MSN Groups, Tumblr, and everything else. Tumblr has been sold over 3 times trying to rebuild the audience up to what it once had, now WordPress owns it. Yahoo killed it and Verizon didn’t know how to revive it. Once twitter dies, it’s going to migrate somewhere else. Telegram is going to really pick up from where Twitter leaves off.

  2. I mean, nothing lasts forever. I’ve been on Twitter since 2009. I frigging love it. I’ve met real people in real life, learned so much on there, and found a lil niche community. Most of the time, I use it as an open diary. If it ends, suffer it to be so. There was life before Twitter and there will be life after it. It’s ending super prematurely in my opinion. There was nothing wrong with it pre-Elon. Always a problematic app, but there has never been a time that I log onto Twitter and NOT laugh as a random post, gif, or comment. To be honest, Elon might want to take a look at Tumblr before he bans sex on the app, cause it’s not gonna go well for him. Unless that is the goal all along.
