  1. That soundtrack is gonna be good if Durand is behind!! He is definitely amazing!!! Hope the film stays true to the material!!

  2. Durand is not human. His coughs could make the most skilled singer hang it up. I know I will be jamming! Jamari, if you get an interview, pass along my information for his consideration..thanks!

  3. I’m soooooo ready for this. The book was very important back when it was written. So glad they created this project.

  4. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about this project. And now to find out Durand Bernarr is helming the soundtrack!!!!!! I am going to have to manage my expectations, LOL…

  5. What’s funny is I just recently purchased this book and I absolutely plan on watching the movie when it drops (I need to go ahead and buy the rest of the series)

  6. This will be interesting to see. Whatever happened to the Invisible Life film though? Wasn’t E Lynn Harris in talks to make the movie before he passed? I could’ve sworn he announced that.

    1. I think his health stopped the movie because it hasn’t been brought up since. That was supposed to be the gay Waiting To Exhale. It was supposed to also have 3 movies like 50 Shades of Grey did. Each of the first 3 books were supposed to have a movie but it got crapped because one black gay movies weren’t mainstream movies yet, studios did not think it would get attention mainly because of the time frame it was in, there was a darker light on gays still then, and his E. Lynn health issues stopped it.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
