i’m always asked about tips for working in corporate environments.
i’ve been in the corporate field in many different areas.
except for 1,
i was a long-term temp for 3.
these are a few tips for being a temp and other things.
so let’s gooooooo…
i have always been a temp.
there are “a-ha” moments all through this entry so stay tuned.
i don’t know when i got into temp work,
but i know i started my corporate temp career when i lived in boston.
i was told how easy it was to get a job by being a temp.
“If you show up and show you are good at the position,
they will most likely hire you.
I got hired for my job and I started out as a temp.”
it came off as pick me behavior.
some jobs i got were legit temp for like a few days,
but others were “temp to hire” which i usually gravitated to.
so i usually did what jamari would do…
today was an interesting day to font the least.
i knew it was gonna be a shit show,
but who knew it would be in a quiet place.
i didn’t sleep at all last night.
i fell asleep at like 11,
but i was up promptly at 230am.
from that point on…
who just got out of a long term relationship,
is the pits.
well for you,
it might be the pits.
if the break up is still fresh,
everything will be compared to the ex.
you won’t fully measure up,
but you’ll be a pleasant distraction in the mean time.
you’re in a rebounding honeymoon phase.
that’s when the sex is usually bomb.
and “just got out of a relationship” sex is:
you’re something to do “in between”.
“in between” until they meet the next whose like the ex.
i’m in one of those right now…
my job has made me uncomfortable.
by the end of this work day,
i was ready to up and quit.
the new position is a disaster,
and my bosses are idiots up close,
but this was needed…
so the head huntress that i met with last week called me yesterday.
she told me she had a gig for me.
i was excited,
but she told me it would only be for two days.
so i went today and foxhole…
