one thing about pennywise,
he is gonna torment you before he kills ya.
i think that is the beauty of this particular killing clown.
he is gonna bring the circus to your doorstep.

when i went to see it back in 2017,
the person i went with and i were scared shitless.the part when he jumped out the movie screen made the entire theater scream,
including myself.
like a girl.
yup.
i never saw the original back in the 90s but they did a good job with the remake.
this version gave me “stranger things” but the upside down place is in the sewers.
sidebar: i must have been the only one who enjoyed the sequel.
so yesterday,
i decided to check out “it: welcome to derry“:
it’s the prequel to how this demon in clown make up came about and Foxhole…
WHAT IN THE ENTIRE FUCK DID I WATCH?!!?

when i font that was a STRONG first episode.
one thing about pennywise is you never know what is real and fake,
because that is how he confuses his victims.
well he confused the fuck outta me when _____ and _____ ______,
because i was like wait did this just happen?
poor _____ because wtf?
as you can see,
i’m fonting a spoiler less entry because i want ya’ll to watch it.
if im gonna be tormented with light nightmares,
The Foxhole will be too.
you can check out “it: welcome to derry” on ( x hbo max ).
the second episode is gonna stream early on halloween.

lowkey: there is a part in the beginning that overstimulated me so much that i had anxiety.
O-U-T.
O-U-T.
O-U-T.
those who watch(ed) will get it.

I was surprised I enjoyed it that much but this and Alien were really fun watches.
So, first things first, I highly recommend watching the original “IT” from the 90s; it’s currently streaming on HBO Max as well.
Don’t get me wrong, I liked the remake; they definitely did some things right. However, the original was just written better and had a better clown, with Tim Curry playing the original Pennywise. Tim Curry used humor to psychologically terrorize the kids; he was calling them everything but a child of GOD, he was making fun of their disabilities, their weight, their sexual orientation, etc. The thing about “IT” is the fact that the kids always had the better storyline than the adults.
The problem with a lot of things nowadays is that we have the technology to make stunning visuals, but people can’t write anymore; the visual has overtaken the story.
I probably will check out “ IT: Welcome to Derry”, but that opening car scene was already doing too much.
