siri is gonna keep the police legit pressed

am i the only one who uses siri?
she isn’t perfect,
but she does the basics that i need.

– set a timer when i’m cooking
– send a quick text
– put my phone on dnd

easy shit.
well siri is about protect you against these hunters too.
if you ever get pulled over,
she is about to come through with the receipts.
this is what i read from “usa today”

Just say, “Hey Siri, I’m getting pulled over.”

One of the latest apps to hit the iOS 12 mobile highway is Shortcuts. With it, users can plot out a series of actions and trigger them by signaling the voice-assistant. One savvy user created an add-on calledPolicethat can give drivers added security during traffic stops.

The brainchild of Redditer Robert Petersen of Arizona, Police was created to covertly record law enforcement officials to “keep everyone safe and honest.”

“I have noticed in reading news articles and seeing reports on TV that in many cases you end up with police saying one thing happened and the citizen being pulled over saying another,” Petersen said to USA TODAY. “And how do you determine truth? Sometimes the police have body cams, sometimes not, and even when they do it’s not always released in a timely manner.”

How does the shortcut work?

Once Siri is alerted about the traffic stop, the program springs into action to:

pause any music that may be playing,
turn down your screen brightness
and puts your phone in Do Not Disturb mode.

Siri then sends a text message to a designated emergency contact to let them know what’s happening.

The front camera turns on to record video of the occurrence.

“When dealing with being pulled over and interacting with law enforcement, you want as little distraction as possible, and that includes music, bright screens and notifications coming in,” Petersen said. “You want to be focused on the encounter at hand and don’t want any unnecessary distraction to yourself or to law enforcement personnel.”

Once users stop the recording, a copy of the video is sent to a specified contact, the brightness returns to normal, and Do Not Disturb is disabled, Petersen said.

*hey siri play “GOT EMMMMMM”*

i think this feature is brilliant.
you don’t even need to touch your phone now.
none of that “reaching for a weapon” shit.
i’m all about being safe in 2018.
i love to share anything that will help the foxhole.
this is so important to know.
the way these hunters are set up,
you never know what you gonna get these days.
i hope they can incorporate this feature on all phones.
even though i’m not too tough on androids,
needs this feature.
kudos to apple.
i’ll allow it.

lowkey: use that feature if they harass you on the street.

  1. Damn I have an Android, but any little thing help in the fight against these Race Soldiers on the America’s Police Force. It may be all a moot point once this rapist is seated on the Supreme Court, I am sure they are already plotting to put all of us Uppity Educated Blacks in our place. I am sure our rights are going to be severely limited in the coming years as we move closer to a Dictatorship than a Democracy. The Police Force will be used to keep us all in line. I hope this is featured on Android real soon and everyone will spread the word to stay safe.

  2. I hope something like this is made for Android. I’ll pass it on to my sister. She has an iPhone. Thank you!!!

  3. My only question is why does it take a white man to develop an app like this that a lot of black people can benefit from? Why aren’t we as a race NOT YET FULLY WOKE?

Anyway thanks for another thinking white man changing the world…..again….smh

  4. I always record, a vixen from Michigan taught me a little about it. She always records and even let’s the officers know before hand. “Officer I am recording our interaction today for accuracy and safety purposes and in no way am I interfering with your police duties. My phone is already set up and down”

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
