there are some regions in the world that don’t get much sun.
it rains or very cloudy pretty much all the time.
when the sun does come out from its cloudy closet,
everyone including animals makes a beeline outside to indulge.

superheroes usually bore me.
i’m not a fan of the “captain americas” and “wonder womans” of the comic world.
i have always been a fan of villains and antiheroes.
they always have a cool backstory and their costumes are usually dope af.
it’s usually someone who was hurt or bullied and their trauma turned them “bad”.
the only superheroes i actually love are batman and spiderman,
both are conflicted with their own trauma and loss.
batman could be a villain after his trauma but he struggles to be different.
last night,
or this morning rather,
i woke up out of my sleep for whatever reason.
at 5 am,
i started watching one of my favorite batman movies…
50 reprises his role as “the villain” for michael k. william’s death
ya’ll never shoulda shot this jackal 9 times and have him survive.
50 is the villain of the hip-hop community and plays that role unapologetically.
he’s a petty cancer (his birthday is the day after mine).
to some,
that has made him a hero.
they live vicariously through his villainy because it helps put batteries in their backs.
50 takes it to a whole other level and has made him pretty unlikeable.
i guess it works because many seem to be scared of him.

you ever wanted to know someone?
like,
you heard so many good things about them that you had to meet them one day?
it’s unfortunate when you have to hear about these things after they pass away.
they are just “another person” until you hear their stories.
they were a treasure that you didn’t get to have.
a luxury you didn’t get to experience.
in a world filled with shallow waters and low-hanging fruit,
a natural-born paradise is really a once and a lifetime oppurtunity.
i read all the kind things people had to say about our late acting wolf,
michael k. williams.
he died due to a drug overdose in his apartment in bk yesterday.
