How Turn On and Off Your Masculine

tumblr_inline_nfeqbxQiW71rag437meeting someone offline is always nerve racking.
where you should meet and if you should fleet.
you know what i’m talmbout.
you could be meeting the wolf/hybrid/fox of your dreams.
well the problem for many is the “facade” they put up.
the “masculine” effect.
you think you are getting one thing and get another.
you know what i’m talmbout.
well this video by @theeyekon call:
“AS THE TRADE TURNS”

is an example of what many of us have gone through

54d4451243b8c_-_tumblr_ncfookkl7d1tlgt1ro2_500…is this video lying tho?
i have been bamboozled once or twice.
like he was a “thug wolf” in his unlocked pictures,
deep voice on the phone,
and his texts were “one word” answers.
in person tho,
he had a blow out and the tighest jeans on.
he tried to hide it,
but i heard “it” trying to creep out.

“so wzzzzzuppppp?
where you lives attttt?”

i suddenly had an emergency.
why do people do this?
it makes no sense.
“it” will come out eventually.
usually:

drink/smoke
when that pipe really digs up in that azz

tumblr_m28f7vQwYv1rtw6mvo1_500will this “game” ever end?
can you really be “yourself” online to get attention?

hell if you look good enough,
most of the times,
it can be excused.
see: peanut/kerry rhodes scandal.
the “gotcha” is when you try to be a whole nother animal.
you suddenly saggin’ sweats and chewin’ tobacco.
now you know that ain’t your groove.
so i had to ask…

Do you blame others for trying to be more “masculine” than they are online?

lowkey: my issue was i tried to be more of a thot.
wolves always liked me offline,
but my issue was i tried to be more “hoe-like” than i am.
i thought that was what kept wolves interested.

lookin’ at the fast foxes/jackals fucked me all up.
oh and meeting “masculine foxes” that were playin’ “wolf”.
those were the worse.

  1. I don’t have these issues because I refuse to link up with “trade” anyway. Any dude who is super insecure about being attracted to men is a huge red flag for me. That goes for guys who have issues sharing pictures, guys who have so many “no’s” and hangups etc. I’m not with all of that.

I guess that’s why I never have to put up a “front”. Plus I work out every week so on apps/social media it’s my body pics that usually do the talking so I don’t have to write that much of a description on my profiles lol

  2. My heart goes out to you, J. Damn you must have been pissed off once you found he was a fem. But seriously tho why do people lie for? Especially if you’re going to meet the person

  3. I have no online experiences, as I am not into that lol. However, this is an issue that occurs in person in the lifestyle way too often. I knew a couple of people like that from high school, they were not feminine, but they had slip ups lol. You see your bros with bent wrists and shit. I’ll be looking at them with my head cocked to the side. Where the hell did your masculinity go? Dudes pretend to have masculine traits like Dolezal pretended to have melanin lol.

  4. Exactly.

Nothing about me says feminine but I’ll be boxing one minute and singing a Taylor Swift song the next minute.

    I give no fucks lol

  5. Funny vid, could tell both of them were putting on before they switched it up tho lol.Obviously everyone more brave on the net, but I mean if you’re looking to fuck with someone offline it doesn’t make sense fronting lol. Shit will come out. Your last line tho, bottoms hit u up pretending to be tops? loool poor jamari

  6. Masculinity is such a funny topic to me because it’s relative. We all operate on a bell curve and most men fall in the middle.

  7. Lol that video was funny af.

It’s relatable because it’s so truth. When you go on jackd’ or any of these hook up apps for gays most of the people on these have some long ass list of NOs. No fats, No Fems, etc . When ever I’ve used the app I’ve known not to put so much energy into all that, I’m not masculine and never claim to be. The guys I’ve been with from these apps don’t seem to mind that I’m not hood, or don’t have a deep voice.

People feel the need to put on this act because this is what our community praises. To halfway quote Noah’s Arc ” in the white gay community it’s the frat jock type and in the black community it’s the home thug.” This won’t change until we open our mind past the Stereotypes we have of certain gays and just let people be them.

  8. Lol. This video gets me everytime. I feel a lot of people are easily influenced or want to fit into what a profile asks for. For example, it someone sees people profile asking for a thug or masculine, then they try to imitate that character.
