I watched the entire katt williams interview with shannon sharpe on sunday morning.
I woke up earlier than I should have and said:

“Why not?”

I thought it was entertaining and informative.
katt has a way of speaking and being engaging.
it was all eyes on him.
shannon sharpe isn’t a great interviewer tbh.
if you paid attention,
katt lowkey shaded him a few times.
i did appreciate shannon’s bawdy tho.
this interview shook everyone up so you know what folks are gonna do:

They are going to try and discredit Katt Willams with his past actions.

my thing is…

And?

his shit is all over Google.
we know katt has been in more than a few situations in the past.
this isn’t brand-new information.

“A broken clock is right twice a day.”
“Two things can be true at the same time.”
“Serial killers can have whole families but still kill between the hours of 8 pm and 4 am.”

he can be an asshole and still expose other assholes for their bad behavior.
it’s not an uncommon concept.
we could all have fucked up pasts but still encounter fucked up people.
notice one thing:

None of those people he has exposed has called him a liar.

it is no different than when our drug-addicted cousin has been saying our uncle molested him.
we didn’t believe it until one of our other cousins,
or one of our children,
reveals they have been a victim too.

“Pookie been saying this shit for the last ten years and we ain’t believe him.”

the issue is pookie’s delivery was all wrong.
his drug addiction shenangians made it worse too.
that is usually the issue.
katt’s background drama and his delivery have been wrong…

…but is he right?

I’m convinced that when people like someone(s),
regardless of what they hear about the person,
they will still ride without asking any questions for context.
