after that coach kellz entry,
i had two thoughts about something.
A – This Coach Kellz story has a slight clout-chasing vibe.
B – We need to talk about safety on socials.
the best way to be safe on socials is not to be on it.
since many of us choose to live our lives freely,
we need to be safe here doing so.
i thought of 9 things when it came to socials…
1. Don’t post where you live.
this should be a no-brainer.
You can post inside your crib but when you get outside,
you should refrain from posting anything that leads to your neighborhood.
Even if you post from 2 blocks over.
You never know who will catch you around the area and follow you.
2. Post whatever you want once you leave the event/venue/crib.
Sometimes we are guilty of wanting people to see where we are at.
“LOOK I’M AT A PARTY AND YOU AREN’T!”
“LOOK AT ME DANCING AND SINGING INTO MY PHONE!”
“LOOK AT ME! DAMMIT LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK AT ME!”
You can do that once you are gone.
3. If you have an online business,
you should have a second number set up.
You should NOT be giving your personal number for business.
Either get another phone or set up a Google Voice (which is free).
4. Personal training,
massages,
and sex work all open the door for anyone.
Personal training = always at an area of YOUR choosing.
Massages and sex work = always at a hotel of YOUR choosing.
You don’t want to be in anyone’s territory alone.
5. Bark on people who post you with the location in it.
You don’t know who is watching or trying to set you up.
We can be the supporting characters in someone else’s production,
but that doesn’t mean they care about their or your own safety.
Flip TF out on people when they violate you.
6 – Stop posting little details that make it easy to figure your shit out.
Your car or constantly posting the area where you work.
You like that certain coffee shop with the muffins?
Yeah,
don’t do that anymore.
Stop dropping clues that are breadcrumbs to how to find you.
7. Stop thinking you are being elusive by only making things close friends.
You have 50-100 people in this close friend circle.
You have 10 of your closest friends but the rest are strangers,
nosy,
or don’t even like you.
You aren’t secretive; you are an idiot.
8. I don’t think it’s safe to post any kids under a certain age on socials.
Personally,
I try to block out any kid’s faces on The Foxhole.
Kids need to be protected.
You don’t know what perverts are watching.
You post your kid’s school and invite straight terror.
9. STOP INVITING STRANGERS TO YOUR HOME TO HAVE SEX .
remember: these strangers know where you live now.
you don’t know where they live.
they peeped you have nice shit too.
you are giving away your power for sex.
your home is your power source.
***********
you don’t need to follow this advice but you should.
if any of the foxholers have tips they follow for safety,
please share so we can all learn something.
let’s turn some brains on!
Bravo!! You should trademark this and get paid. It should be an insert in every “Internet ready device” sold!!
