If you’re old enough to want to fuck,
you’re old enough to get a room
it’s one thing to be high school,
the dl wolf in biology gets down,
and you sneak him into yo mama crib while she is at work.
strangers you meet online for a hook up should get room service.
essentially,
hook ups are very similar to prostitution.
most johns usually bring prostitutes to a hotel.
it’s usually one night of sex and then never to be seen again.
they shouldn’t know where you live and how to get there.
a foxholer wrote a comment that i wanted to share.
it touched on this recent wave of robbing and killing gays offline…

People got hurt and people lost their lives, so I definitely want to be respectful, but there are a lot of conversations to be had about this. The first problem is people don’t date; you have to date me, we have to go to get a good cup of coffee, go out to a couple of good restaurants, go out to the movies, concerts, plays, I have to pay for something you have to pay for something and all of this has to be going on before you get my address. The dating process typically will expose someone’s true intentions.
2nd words matter; a booty call in most instances implies a familiar relationship i.e. friends who crossed a line and are now occasional sex partners. Even a one-night stand implies something that is organic with a level of spontaneity i.e. we’re at a club or concert /function with a common interest one thing leads to another and boom you’ve done the deed, you wake up in bliss or you wake up with regret as you prepare for your walk of shame. Again, the spontaneity of a one-night stand will weed out the crazies.
What you really have now is a form of prostitution with these social media apps. The problem with prostitution is the implied desperation that comes along with it. You don’t know how desperate the prostitute is and how far they are willing to go to get your money. Things get further complicated with same-sex prostitution situations because now there are different power dynamics at play, in a man/woman dynamic the man is typically going to be stronger than the woman and so the woman is forced to be submissive , you switch that to a man/man dynamic and now all of a sudden you (the John) may be dealing with a man that is more physically capable than you and now all of a sudden you may be in for the fight of your life if things go wrong.
110%.
some will probably get insulted by this.
we know who’ll be an alleged victim in the future.
i urge the foxhole to properly pre-screen who you’re speaking to,
even if you trying to fuck on the first “date”.
as the foxholer in the above stated:
“you have to date me, we have to go to get a good cup of coffee, go out to a couple of good restaurants, go out to the movies, concerts, plays, I have to pay for something you have to pay for something and all of this has to be going on before you get my address. yup.
lowkey: your safety should always come first.
A friend of mine almost got gang raped/robbed after meeting someone online. After he met this stranger at his (so-called) place, out of nowhere three guys came out of a back room. My friend told me he had to jump out of the window, almost naked to escape.
^OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how has he handled it after?
that sounds traumatic af!!!!
i hope your friend is okay now…
💯 agree with what he had to say.
I agree with everything be said but 98% of the time Women & men arent killed by random hookups they met online. They’re killed by people they’ve known and engaged with for years. At the end you just have to hope and pray you end up with someone without issues. Whether they’re friends or romantic interests
Amen to all of this! Also, trust your intuition. Dont let your hormones lead you into situations you’ll regret later. We all have an intuitive 6th sense but we all dont listen to it when it’s trying to warn us of danger ahead. Trust me, I know from experience. If something seems off or not 100% kosher with that fine piece of tail you’re trying smash, trust your gut. Better safe than sorry out here in these forests. There are many predators lurking about the woods.
Meet in a public place. Get a face pic. Talk over the phone. Facetime if you can. If you do have to have that booty call, have yourself a designated friend that knows where you’re going to be, who you gonna be with, when you should be coming home, or who’s coming over to your place, etc. Have them even give you a call or text to check up on you. Basically, if you gonna be frolicking out in the forests, have a plan.

that one case,
it seemed that they killed one guy and critically injured his friend.
we live in a hateful “trump era” and no one is truly safe anymore.
It is so unfortunate what happened to these two men. Something similar happened to my cousin years ago but luckily he survived. We are now each others designated friend if/when we meet up with people out in the cyber forests.
This is why it is so important to have a support system where you have someone you can trust and depend on. The price that comes with living in the DL “what’s done in the dark” lifestyle can be heavy one to pay. Trust me, I once lived in the shadows of the same gender loving forests before I fully came into myself (No pun intended LOL). And no, Im not saying one needs to be out and loud, waving a rainbow flag in the Pride parade if that’s not your thing but it is important that we start addressing and healing the stigma and shame that’s in the Black and Brown communities regarding the spectrum of sexuality.Especially now more than ever in the Trump era where it seems the whole country has forgotten their empathy, compassion, and basic humanity.
