tyler perry just dropped a trailer for a new movie with trevante and kelly rowland.
it’s called “mea culpa” and it comes out feb 23rd on netflix.

first off,
kelly looks GORGEOUS and is giving us “acting“.
she is aging like fine wine.

last,
i’ll watch anything with trevante in it.
he always comes with the acting and the:

he just knows what i like.

i love that one of tyler perry productions favs is in this movie.
the dragon lady from “haves and have nots” was in there.

did she die in the last episode?
i stopped watching way before that tbh.
trevante started on one of his shows too.
it was some desperate housewives type of situation.

This looks good and I’m sure we will all be watching it together when it drops.

  1. I’ll probably watch. Trevante Rhodes doesn’t get enough credit, he is certified fine and has a fantastic body I’m not sure why he never comes up in that list of best looking men category; and Kelly has been adding to her acting resume. The problem is going to be that Tyler Perry is writing it and his writing is just not there yet, he needs to hire a team.

    1. TBH, while his body is undeniable, I don’t think his face is as attractive as we want it to be. Don’t get me wrong, he’s not unattractive at all, but I feel like we’ve been deeming any dark skinned man w a beard and body ‘fine’ by default for the last few years.

      And yes, Tyler’s writing is a fool, but so is Kelly’s acting. She’s a beautiful woman and great singer, but I hate that acting roles are treated as something that just comes w fame, when it comes to blk ppl. No one is gonna have Angela Bassett sing the national anthem at a NBA game, but Michelle Williams and Erica Mena have more film credits than a Julliard grad w 2 Tony Awards.

      But again, I digress…

  2. I will be honest, I will only watch for Kelly and Trevante and the dude from Survivors Remorse. But I will watch.

  3. Jamari you know don’t nuthin bout this movie look good except Trevante and Kelly. And as beautiful as she is, Kelly is and has always been a terrible actress. But, if you’re black and alrdy famous for anything at all, that means you deserve acting roles. But I digress.
