what if humiliation wasn’t the end of the road but the ticket in?
before we pledge a frat or soror (for the vixens who read),
they drag us through public embarrassment and being hazed first.
once we endure the humiliation?
doors swing open and connections stack like poker chips.
all you gotta say is you are part of one of the many frats/sorors and boom:

kim kardashian might be the accidental godmother of this rule.
her sex tape “leaked“,
constant ridicule,
and being a punchline but yet,
the public shaming got her to billionaire status.
she is the blueprint to all the narc selfies,
nudes/stroke resume leakages,
and maybe even the “influencer” trend.
lately,
i’ve come to the conclusion…
success isn’t about avoiding humiliation.
it’s about standing in it and cashing in.
look around:
many of the “cancelled”,
the ridiculed,
the “i got a story to tell on tiktok”,
and the exposed are not broke because they’re booked.
our forest doesn’t reward the perfectly behaved anymore.
it rewards the ones bold enough to get dragged,
turn into memes,
and still show up the next morning like:

kim,
jlo,
draya,
britney,
sabrina,
sydney,
gabrielle,
obj,
drake,
rih,
bey,
diddy,
katy perry,
and even our new president are all wining due to their various humiliation rituals.
OF scammers get exposed and rake in even more subscribers.
literal murderous hyenas still get love letters and proposals.
i’m not fonting go out there and look like a clown ass bitch for clout.
the audience can tell when we are trying to hard.
what but i am font is the rules we were raised on are dead.
if we want to thrive,
we can’t tiptoe through life hoping to do the right thing.
what the “the right thing” even mean nowadays?
we have to move boldly,
unapologetically,
and understanding we might end up looking unhinged and/or get humiliated.
if we own it tho,
channel it right,
stop trying to do things perfectly like everyone else,
and don’t bitch up and crawl in a hole to die if we get laughed at/hated on in some way…

humiliation doesn’t become our scarlet letter anymore.
It’s a crown.
lowkey: if you look at every star or anyone who has gone viral,
they all went through some kind of humiliation.
