IT HURTS LIKE HELL.
I feel like I should be wearing some big glasses,
moving my head back and forth,
wearing all black,
and singing hood anthems…
a la…
It’s that wonderful period in my life again.
One that seems tougher than the past.
Now, a Fox has been:
Homelessness, sleeping on couches, broke, jobless, loneliness…
Not to mention betrayed, talked about, used and thrown to the side…
A Fox has been through the ends and outs.
God has blessed me so much these last few years that I could never complain.
But, I seem to be in a slump these last few months.
Nothing seems to be going where I want it to go.
Am I being ungrateful?

They say the bigger the prize means the bigger the risk.
It could be exciting career choices, moving to a new state, or even snagging your Baller Wolf.
But, with these big prizes come bigger fears.
Fears that can make even the bravest Fox/Wolf/or Hybrid feel inadequate.
What is it about getting what you finally want so scary?
Why do we get scared when things start to go our way?

I Really Want What You May Have
Have you noticed life is funny?
For some, it can be “ha-ha” funny where you go through it with a breeze.
You have a few issues, but you keep positive and know things will work out.
Others are not laughing and feel the joke is on them.
You want to be grateful, but you feel you have nothing to be grateful for.
How do we stay grateful when we do not have everything we desire?

“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”
So is that how “it” works?
I was sitting in my room and that quote flashed across my screen.
It seemed that yesterday’s theme was “opportunity”.
I had so many instances where I was smack dad in “opportunity”,
that I thought that maybe it was a hint into my future.
In order to meet the Wolf I wanted, I needed to find an opportunity.
In order to make more money, I needed to prepare my skills for the right opportunity.
In order to rise to the top, I needed both preparation and opportunities.
Exhausting….
It all started when I read that thing about Tyler Perry’s casting for his new show.
If I was in his shoes, would I use my power to create opportunity to meet Wolves?
Hmmm…
If You Could Have Your Life Changed….
I hate to be a Bible Thumper Fox…
But this question was posed to me earlier
and I thought I would ask my Foxes, Wolves, and Vixens the same.

In Memorial Of The Social Life I Use To Have
Straight up, this weekend has been a disaster.
I have NEVER been home like this for a Memorial Day weekend.
It was either cookouts, work (when I did retail), or meeting up with some Wolf.
This year was PAINFULLY different.
It started out with some things to do but it ended with the usual mix of loneliness and depression.
