let’s blame the democrats for this loss because it’s their fault

I’m not exactly deep into politics like some of Political Foxhole,
but i’ve learned a thing or two from the sidelines.

tbh,
as a kid,
politics was a non-factor to me.
it was boring.
i was too busy being a kid,
snooping in the forests of tabloid magazines to care.
hurricane katrina happened and I saw this:

my fav rapper at the time merging into his frustration with politics.
i’ll never forget seeing dead black bodies floating in the water.
that visual still haunts me.
it was the moment i realized just how dark and twisted the political game could get.
fast forward to the social media era

Now everyone’s a policy expert with a hot take.

lately,
the democratic dragging session has been in full swing.

“They were too centrist.”
“Too corporate.”
“No clear message.”

“She wasn’t the right candidate.”
“Biden is selfish and should have done a primary.”

sure,
all valid critiques,
but let’s font about the elephant (pun intended) in the room.

Why is no one dissecting how his campaign,
dripping with hatred and divisiveness,
ever got the green light from America?

Why are we reenacting a nightmare that didn’t even need a sequel?

Why do democrats have to jump through flaming hoops while everyone who voted for him doesn’t know what a tariff is?

we’re all piling on the dems,
but why isn’t anyone asking what the other side’s been doing wrong?

and why was their mess being ignored?
i feel like everyone is looking for someone to blame for this loss

But shouldn’t we be blaming those who voted against their best interest, or didn’t care to do research, instead?

…or those who didn’t vote because they didn’t like either?

  1. While I agree Jamari, the dragging of the democrats is for the exact reason that you just stated. With all the flaws that his campaign had, with all the bs that the dems should have been able to capitalize on they still dropped the bag. Yes it ultimately it was the people that supported that bs by voting for it, but it is the job of the political party and those who push their agenda to advocate for voting in their favor and the results are saying that they did not do a good job of that. And we know that it’s not just because the other side ran one hell of an excellent campaign against them. So for a loss this bad on what should have been a political gold mine to take advantage on, they need to discuss every reason why they loss and why they couldn’t convince that many people.

  2. The 2024 Presidential Election was a referendum on White Nationalism. White people voted based on race or chose NOT to vote based on race.

If you wouldn't say it on live TV with all your family and friends watching, without getting canceled or locked up, don't say it on here. Stay on topic, no SPAM, and keep it respectful. Thanks!
