I see this guy at the gym. I see that he occasionally shoots me a few looks, nothing strange, but he just looks at me as I am working out. As he is about to leave, he takes a look back at me. Again, I don’t think much of it, but I leave soon after he does.

Well, I end up at a stop light and he pulls up next to me. He looks over at me again, but I didn’t say or do anything. Against my general judgment, I decide to post an ad on Craigslist in the m4m missed connections section. I gave a general description of a guy where many guys could fit the description.

Well, I get a response and the guy tells me what he was wearing, but he also makes a mention that he is straight as well. I ask a few more questions and it is indeed the same guy who was looking at me in the gym. My question for you is what do you think of the situation?

 Ok, so I never believed in love at first sight. So I went into work today like regula degula shit. I get to the register and spoke to my female coworker and we was just catching up/talking shit. So I had to run down stairs to get something and JA.MAR.II, as I am walking I spot this FIONEEE ASS wolf they have as the stores greeter.

 

I was looking very good today, fresh cut beard shaped up and ALL and I saw him gazing at me. And I just blurted out “Hey, Wassup? How r u?” He responds “Hey. How are you doing”? Jamari I am shy but not bashful, but I’ve never met a guy who commanded a room without saying a word. It was like we erased everyone for a minute or at least I did.

Back to topic he and I ended up working together alone in the room today. So I seized the opportunity to get acquainted. He’s 23, in college like me, drives, hasn’t mentioned a girlfriend, and seems like a all together nice dude. Calm soul. However I don’t know  if he’s down. I am sure by now you have heard Droopy denied being gay. However, since February this year Droopy’s PR team is working overtime. First, in a major magazine publication, his PR people worked with them to publish a bogus story linking him to The Country Canary. However, the problem is The Canary is a power beard and she has worked with other closeted gay stars like JG and HS. Gay stars know one way to straighten their image is to hire her. Also, Droopy went on ESPN radio last month and said that K was just a “seat filler” at award shows. Meanwhile, K went to twitter and he retweeted a tweet from February saying Droopy is ungrateful since he “helped” him. It seems these two still have a torch for each other. Droopy is just angry he got dumped by K. Also notice the mainstream sports media swept the story under the rug. Yes Droopy got dumped because K wanted an authentic relationship and be out and proud. Droopy and his PR team pathetic attempts to make him appear straight just show how he is a closet case.

First of all congrats on the job. I just found one myself. Ain’t God good? Anyway, i  recently met this down low guy. We met online. He is very much in the closet. Has a girl friend. Jamari, I’ve been an avid reader of your site for almost a year and a half now. I must say I browse by it twice or more times a day- Ha! Over the months reading the struggle you’d been going through called life really had me at an awe.

Just like yourself, I’ve been out of work for a few months now. Things get harder and bills keep on adding up, man don’t I know. As well going on countless interviews and still not being promised anything. The amount of education you have does not promise you everything. In this city (DC) things aren’t cheap- just like NYC, I’m sure. Its hard to compete for any job here smh. 60 something percent of people that live in this city have at least their bachelors degree…talk about competition, huh? It’s days when I kick my own ass, but I constantly tell myself not to lose hope…..anyway. I just wanted to say congrats on the job and that you are an example to keep pursuing, man.
